The containers were supposed to be water tight but they had holes rusted through the roof on both. And the company refused to do anything. They said I should have inspected them better before the delivery guy left. They refused to reimburse me for the cost of repairs. I also had to put new floors in both of them.

This container is a piece of junk that…
This container is a piece of junk that should never been sold as “product ready”, but was. Money up front, sight unseen. Don’t do business with this company. They are not trustworthy. I tried to refuse the delivery, but the driver would not return it. I did NOT sign the delivery documents. I filed a complaint, but the company said they didn’t certify the container, that it was up to the customer to have the container inspected. The driver said that a broker approved shipment from a picture the driver took. Buyer beware. Use another provider.

We are veryspecify ientfing our grades and go out of our way to describe conditions of each grade before you buy. You bought a cheaper lower grade.

Doors leak and company wont honor their…
EDIT: Response to your response... How are you to get a video of the sealed doors leaking inside, without putting yourself in extreme danger of having to be Locked Inside? Don't state you do NOT want your customers put in danger when that is Exactly what you are asking them to do!!
Doors leak and company wont honor their warranty. They want you to lock yourself inside the container while its raining to video the leak. First trying to be on-site at the remote location when its raining is a 1 in 10000 chance, secondly to put your customer in a very dangerous situation of having to be "Locked In" a container, us utterly ridiculous. Filed a claim within 30 days of receiving and they refuse to replace with what was promised, like their warranty stated they could do. Plan on purchasing half dozen more on the next few year, thus was our fourth container for them, but will NEVER use this company again

Hi Russ, thank you for your feedback and for your past business with us. We want to address a few points directly. First, our claims team did ask for documentation of the active leak as part of the warranty review process, but we would never ask a customer to place themselves in an unsafe situation. Second, the containers purchased were quoted as 40’ High Cube Wind and Water Tight (WWT) units, which are functional-grade containers intended to be structurally sound and weather-resistant, but they are still used containers and cosmetic wear is expected. Our team works to explain those grades in detail before purchase so customers understand the condition and purpose of the unit they are selecting. Third, our process includes inspection before delivery and again at delivery with the customer before sign-off. We do honor our warranty, and our claims team’s request for documentation was part of that review process. Even so, we regret the frustration this experience has caused. We encourage you to continue the conversation with our claims team so we can find the right resolution for you.

Horrible Logistic Department
Everything regarding the delivery and logistic customer service was horrible. The sales process went fine but the logistic process was a nightmare and the logistic team was totally unhelpful. My unit was delivered a day early than scheduled and the delivery person wouldn’t wait an hour for me to get there and left it in the middle of my driveway. The logistic department apologized but didn’t offer a solution. They said it take a couple months before they might have someone in the area to move it to where it was originally supposed to be dropped.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you noting that the sales process went well. Delivery coordination can depend on scheduling, driver routing, site conditions, and communication across multiple steps, but we understand that this does not lessen the frustration when placement or timing does not go as expected. We regret that the logistics follow-up did not leave you with the level of support you expected. Please continue communicating with our team to find the right solution for you.

Look for a container somewhere else
I ordered, and prepaid for , a used, weather tight container for storage. The box that was delivered was a beat up, rusty, piece of junk that leaked in three places. When I contacted Container One to see how
we could rectify the situation, all I got was delay, defer
and denial. Finally, they offered to send me a weather strip kit so that I could make repairs myself. Some customer service. I scrapped, sanded ,caulked and painted the container inside and out, and it is now serviceable, and sits in the back corner of my yard.
I could have saved a lot of time, effort and frustration
by sourcing a container from someone else..
container, inside and out, and it is now u

Hi Kevin, thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear this container did not meet your expectations. The unit ordered was a Wind And Water Tight (WWT) container, which is a functional grade intended for secure storage and weather protection, but it can still show the cosmetic wear that comes with a used container. When appearance is especially important, we typically recommend a 1-Trip.
We work closely with customers before purchase to explain the different container grades we offer and what to expect from each one. We provide one of the most detailed grading structures in the industry because we want customers to have clear options based on budget, appearance, and intended use.
In this case, the container also went through our inspection process at the depot and again at delivery, where the delivery inspection was signed off at the time of receipt. After hearing your concerns, our team also made efforts to help within the warranty coverage for the grade purchased. We understand that this experience was still frustrating, and we appreciate the opportunity to hear your feedback as we continue working to keep expectations, inspections, and support clear at every step.

Crap Container, Crummy Experience
between the lack of responses to post-payment inquiries, the lack of flexibility in delivery date options and the container arriving with a bunk door and small HOLE in the roof that, when we attempted to clean before patching, collapsed into a larger, more problematic hole, I would NOT recommend Container One to anybody. save yourselves the trouble and find an alternative container source that will answer ALL your questions AND deliver a quality container with NO immediate repairs or adjustments required.
Response from Container OneAug 7, 2026
Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear the process after payment felt frustrating and that the container you received did not match your expectations.
The container ordered was a 40ft High Cube Wind and Water Tight (WWT) container. That grade is intended to provide a structurally sound, weather-resistant unit, but because it is a used container, cosmetic wear and signs of prior service can still be present. If appearance and overall cosmetics were a top priority, we recommend a one-trip container, which is typically the better fit for customers looking for fewer cosmetic imperfections.
We also want to clarify the delivery process on our end. Once payment is received, our team works tirelessly, with scheduling depending on depot availability, truck routing, delivery windows, and confirmation that the site and access requirements are aligned for safe placement. That process can limit flexibility on exact delivery timing, but your questions and concerns still should have been answered more clearly and more promptly throughout that stage.
Before delivery, our containers go through our dual inspection process, and the issues you described were not identified during inspection. Even so, we understand your frustration.
We appreciate the chance to address this feedback. Our goal is always to provide clear communication, transparent expectations, and a durable shipping container that matches the customer’s needs. We are sorry that this experience did not reflect that standard. We welcome you to continue the conversation with the team to get this solved for you.

Horrible experience …
Container should have taken 7 to 10 days to arrive, but took almost a month to get here. Once the Container was paid for left several messages for assigned representative, manager and dispatched person and no call back. The only helpful person was the customer service department. The delivery person was great as well and he did not know we waited a month for it. I would diffinitely not recommend this company to anyone if they are looking to get their container on time.
Response from Container OneAug 6, 2026
We are sorry you had a bad delivery experience. Deliveries can be delayed for many reasons, like weather, the container doesn't pass inspection before we deliver it, and other reasons. Or communication with you should have been better. We log every call, email, and text, and I will review to see where we may have dropped the ball.
