Sold as small-business friendly; cancellation request ignored
In early 2026 I signed up for ConstructConnect for my small carpet cleaning and concrete business in Washington. I told the sales rep exactly what kind of business I run. I was told the platform was a good fit for small businesses, easy to use with essentially no learning curve, and that I'd get my access keys. That isn't how it went for me. Working access wasn't delivered on time, and ConstructConnect gave me a discount to make up for it. Once I got in, I found the platform complex and geared toward large general contractors. It just wasn't practical for an operation my size, and I've gotten essentially no use out of it. On August 8, 2026 I emailed a formal request to cancel, get a refund, and receive written confirmation. I never got a written response, and I haven't received any refund of the roughly $2,200 I paid. Charges to my card kept being attempted afterward, including one that was declined in October. I've had to ask my bank to block further charges. If you're a small contractor, get every claim the sales rep makes in writing, and read the contract terms on renewal and cancellation carefully before you sign. I'm still waiting on ConstructConnect to cancel my account and respond to my refund request in writing. I'll update this review if they resolve it.
