I like Swoosh English because the platform is accessible. The modules are easy to understand, simple to follow, and the topics are direct to the point. I recently cleared my IELTS with the able and excellent guidance of Ms. Jennifer from Connetics and Swoosh English. Excellent and wonderful IELTS coaching experience with satisfactory result guaranteed. They are the perfect example of the famous quote: “A good teacher is like a candle – it consumes itself to light the way for others” They know very well the potential of each and every student and shapes him / her accordingly. To be totally upfront, it was not a walk in the park examination. As a matter of fact I did not get my desired speaking band score on my first attempt. I was devastated because although I got 8.5 in Reading and Listening, my speaking was 6.5. This is where I talk to Ms. Jennifer and she encourages me to try again, but this time I should be diligent enough to attend classes and practice my speaking skills regularly. I am writing this note to express my gratitude for your dedication and perseverance, as well as to show how much I value your efforts. Thank you once again for everything you are doing for all of us. To my fellow students and classmates make it a habit to speak in English, try answering questions on a daily basis even if it’s already awkward. Later you will realise that you’ve improved so much. IELTS was the real deal!!. I had invested my precious time as well as massive effort to improve my english. Precious time because even during special holidays such as Christmas 2021, New year 2022 and my own birthday January 2022, I was studying, instead of enjoying the day. Massive effort because I am currently working 5 days a week and if I am at home I was doing my duties to my family especially I have two little kids. Thus, I have to squeeze time to study. Eventhough, I have been living in U.K for 20 years, I am still not confident with my English communication skills. There were moments that I am searching for words to say and write. In addition, I do not know the techniques on how to skim and scan as well as the full attention to listen. Moreover, my educational background did not help since I am not a straight A student, instead I was more of an easy go lucky type of a person, so I did not worked on to improve my English communication skills before. Since, I believe that a person should incorporate English communication in everyday life or shall I say It should be a way of life to learn and eventually master the skills. However, I violated the rule that leads me to struggle a lot during my Ielts review. Indeed, I am sharing a part of my life experiences to serve as a motivation as well as positive thoughts that no matter how hard the circumstances, things can be accomplished with the proper attitude, patience, hardwork, planning, mindsetting and determination to succeed. Of course, to improve your speaking skills you’ll be needing a speaking buddy and an audio recorder to listen and be able to review the conversation. Most importantly, utilized the resources that was provided to you by Connetics, it was an outstanding support, that I am so grateful for passing the IElLTS on my first attempt. Nick T.
