We live 4 1/2 hrs away and we ask if all testing could be done in one day ! They said yes ! When we got there we consulted with a nurse . They just wanted more money for other tests and to make us stay an extra day . We didn't have the money and arrangements to stay an extra day. It would have costed us an extra $1000 for that extra day to be there . So we info them that the other testing would have to wait . It's been a month and a week since our regular tests had been done and still no info on our results. I have called them to send the results to my doctor and they only sent half of the information to my Dr. Called them again and nothing has happened . Just got done calling for the 3rd time and left another message. If they can't give me the results that I paid for $600 why would I go back and spend $800 on other testing plus hotels,food and gas. They seemed to only care about money and not providing good service.

The lady Dr. was literally just reading off of a script! My case is different & she did not listen to even know that she needed to think and speak outside of her script. She blankly stared at me while I spoke. I did not feel free to lay it all out. She was cold and lacked personal interest in her job. Kept pushing me to take things that are detrimental to people with the diagnosis I've received. I had to be my own advocate. Good thing I have already read up and studied what is correct.

They were rude to both my husband and I. We drove four hours for a 5-minute meeting with the doctor paid $175 for those 5 minutes and it was supposed to be a 45 minutes console with the doctor. She was very rude and did not help at all. They want to run all these tests on me which would have cost thousands of dollars, but I had a packet deal that would have ran all the same tests and I was told that those tests are for people just starting out to have kids, so they were wanting to charge me even more money... I talked to the secretary prior to the appointment and said that my husband had an appointment for a sample appointment, get there, and they did not have it scheduled, which was even more frustrating. I was very disappointed with everything. Will NOT recommend this facility to anyone, I even had a few friends that were going to go down there as well and told them my experience and they refuse to go there. Being rude to a patient is unacceptable especially when they pay an arm and leg for a 5 minutes meeting on top of drive 4 hours there and 4 hours back home..

Still charged me $125 for a consult I drove 60 miles to and they couldn't do what I needed. My consult was literally 5 minutes long and I explained that I'm single and wanted to start a family using a sperm donor and doing a home insemination. I needed a specimen release form signed but they will not sign for a home insemination. I understand that that is their policy. I could not find this information posted anywhere or else I would not have pursued them. But they should not charge someone $125 for a 5 minute appointment when the customer walks away unhelped. I didn't even ask them any questions. It was such a waste of my money!!!! I tried to explain to them that they were unable to help me but she said they still have to charge me because I met with a provider. I would understand it if I sat there for my full appointment asking questions. But that was not the case.

UPDATE (08/10/18): You will need an owner's manual to successfully understand and complete Conceptions' Intake process for fertility testing. Also note that you will not have access to a live person, EVER, unless you are calling to schedule an appointment. You will then likely play phone tag for days since Conceptions does not gather how you would like to best be contacted. Even if you do find an email address of someone to contact, regardless of if you indicate your request for a phone call is urgent, you will likely not be contacted. You will also receive a couple of dozen bills, phone calls, and emails from various service providers, and you will likely not have any idea who is providing what service from each provider, unless you email billing and ask for an itemized list of services and providers and then work with your insurance company, extensively, to cross-reference. You will also not receive a timeline of when you can expect to be contacted by who for what, so you will patiently wait, call, call some more, and continue to call to try and figure out what you are doing with Conceptions. While the staff at Conceptions is very nice, the process is so complicated and disorganized, that it far outshines any other positive experience you may have.

I went in for an initial consultation and was treated VERY poorly. I am overweight and I knew going in to the consultation that I would be told that I would need to improve my health and lose some weight. Instead, I was cut down and told that my weight is not only a problem but that I would never be able to take the weight off on my own. The doctor pushed bariatric surgery again and again, stating it was the only way I would be able to lose. I am 5'9 and weigh 299 pounds. I KNOW I am heavy but to say I could NEVER do it on my own is just plain rude. I was made to feel selfish for even considering conceiving while overweight. Again, I can handle all of this information, but the way it was portrayed was completely unacceptable. I will NOT return to this practice and have already called another practice who stated they never push bariatric surgery and encourage meeting with a nutritionist and learning to live a healthy lifestyle. If you are overweight do not go to this clinic!!! They will fat shame you!! Update: I appreciate that I was offered another doctor but I was so upset by the whole experience that I sought a second opinion. I went and met with a doctor at another clinic and it was SO much better! He was very kind and made me feel VERY comfortable. It was a completely different experience, and no, he did not sugar coat my weight issues but he was not rude at all about it. Much more infertile friendly. I really recommend looking for a different clinic in Colorado if you want to be treated with respect and care for your feelings.

Very cold, not welcoming doctor. Couples that look for a Fertility clinic are already going through too much. Doctors need to be caring, warm, welcoming. Getting a list of supplements, likes its a recipe book, not made especifically for you?! Some I should not take due to my medical history . Disappointed.
