CompAndSave.com Inc.Reviews of compandsave.com

The ink cartridge they sent was not compatible with the HP printer. When I contacted customer support they troubleshot with me. When nothing worked the employee said I would be receiving an email from them to the one on file. Yeah right. No email ever came. The “customer service ticket” was marked as resolved. What a lie! The employee needs to be counseled unless this is what the company wants them to do. Needless to say I will never purchase ink cartridges from them again. I warn all potential buyers to BEWARE of this company.

I bought several remanufactured cartridges from CompAndSave a few months ago. The Vivid Light Magenta worked fine. The Vivid Magenta did not work at all. I have a show coming up which I need the cartridge so I can print at all! I tried to get them to send a replacement cartridge, but you have to fill out a form, ship the cartridge back to them and then wait for them to credit your account ship another cartridge back to me…which will take several days. I am not asking for my money back, just a replacement cartridge. Not happy at all. This is their customer service? Really.

I really wish I'd looked for reviews first. Then I would still have my hard-earned money. I ordered 2 Dell All-in-One ink cartridges, and there was not a drop of ink anywhere. Don't patronize this company. They never sent an email or anything.....RED FLAG. I kept watch for an email....Then I said something's not right....low and behold ...fraudulent company....stole my money. I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER FROM COMPANDSAVE...COMP& STEAL YOUR MONEY....PERIOD!

I ordered 3 ink cartridges for my HP printer that did not work. I shipped them back and they pretended like they were going to refund the purchase. They said they were sending a Zelle refund but did not. Now they are saying they tried to refund my credit card which was never even offered. My credit card was canceled because after my purchase to Comp and Save my card was used for a fraud purchase for a anti virus software. When I looked at the information on my bank statement they fraudster had used Comp and Save's company phone number. Comp and Save denied being involved in the fraud but have made it a point not to refund my purchase and lie to me. They then stopped corresponding. So now I have to start with the numerous BBB FTC and AG office of Consumer Affairs complaints. They are really horrible to do this to hard working people. Do not use them. Buyer beware.

I have purchased many times from CompServe for Bulk Ink supplies and cartridges. When I purchased a new Canon printer G7020, in 2022, I no longer needed to use cartridges. I would only need to purchase ink to refill the tanks. All of my previous cartridges that I still had left over and had not used from my previous printer, CompServe said I could return the unopened and not used cartridges and get a full refund, or save my refund and use it as Store Credit. I was able to keep my total and use it towards future purchases of ink. I just recently placed an order for more ink, using my Store Credit Balance. 😉 They keep excellent track of all refunds, replacements, purchases and balances. When I had issues with 1 or 2 cartridges not printing, they provided helpful suggestions to resolve the problem. If my issue was not resolved, they quickly sent me a replacement. CompServe works quickly with their customers, providing support on all issues they may have. I depend on them to give me helpful advice and feedback to my questions. When I experienced issues using their website, locating items, etc., I was able to send them a note or email to contact them about anything, and they reached out to me in a quick timeline to assist me in problem resolutions. CompServe is my Go To site for my Printer needs! 😉

I ordered an ink cartridge in late November for my Brother printer. It arrived in early December without a problem. However, when I needed it on a Saturday in early January, I discovered that the cartridge was defective insofar as it would not securely fit into the printer. I had to wait until Monday to reach customer service, and then a couple of days passed before I was told that a replacement would be sent. At first I was told to return the defective cartridge, but then I was told not to. I was treated as if replacing a defective product "at no additional cost" was a courtesy being paid to me rather than an ethical obligation of good business. I would have thought that they would have found some way to acknowledge that their sending me a defective product resulted in great inconvenience and disruption of my business, as well as my having (because I had an immediate need for the printer and their cartridge proved to be unreliable) to incur the expense of going to an office supply store to acquire at greater cost a non-defective cartridge.

EDITING THIS POST ON MAY 3, 2025. COMP AND SAVE NO LONGER HANDLES PANTUM PRINTERS AND I JUST READ THAT PANTUM PRINTERS HAVE A SHORT LIFE. BUMMER ! I am a retired guy almost 88 yrs old. I used COMP AND SAVE for a long time for my 2 Pantum printers. I made 100s of liberal bumper stickers and the Pantum's ink was waterprooof, but with the Trump administration, folks were afraid to put liberal bumper stickers on their cars so I quit. I started just using my HP Desktop printer for just general printing. Recently I wanted to print 8.5x11" posters to go to protests. So having forgotten COMPANDSAVE.COM, I bought a printer cartridge from Walmart but it lit the red light on my printer and would not print! PERIOD! I just dropped it off with a Walmart furished return FedEx label. I looked thru some old papers and found my COMP & SAVE paperwork. I'll call them Monday when they reopen. Can't wait. Maybe an inexpensive bottle of ink will do....like old times!

I bought a complete color toner set and learned the hard way not to buy cheap knock-offs like this. They don't work in my Canon Imageclass printer. I'm going to toss them all into the garbage and go back to my even older Canon, a black and white only printer. I have a lifetimes worth of black toner for that in the attic. Don't waste money on these guys.
