DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!! I tried to buy things 3 times, only to have to call after weeks of not hearing from them to find out that the seller didn’t have the item. They do not communicate with customers and have extremely poor service.

Patrick, we are sorry for the experience you had, especially after trying multiple times. You’re right to expect better communication and more reliable fulfillment. Not being notified when an item isn’t available is frustrating, and we understand how that would erode your trust.
We’ve been working on improving our systems to better track listings and communicate faster when issues come up, and feedback like yours is exactly why it matters.
We’d like to offer you free shipping on a future order and do our best to make this right. If you're open to giving us another shot, feel free to reach out directly and reference this message, we’ll make sure it’s handled properly.
Thanks again for your honesty.

Hey Russ, we totally hear you on this. Shipping costs can feel way out of proportion sometimes, especially on smaller purchases, and we get why that left a bad impression.
We’re always trying to balance safe packaging with fair pricing, but clearly this didn’t hit the mark. As a gesture of goodwill, we’d like to offer you free shipping on your next order, just reach out and mention this message, and we’ll make sure it’s taken care of.
We appreciate the feedback, and sorry again we missed the mark this time.

I will Never buy from them again
I will Never buy from them again! I won an item and 2 months later I contacted them for an eta on the item. They never tried to contact or notify me beforehand that the seller decided to sell the item somewhere else. They had me hanging for 2 months thinking my items was on the way. Support is horrible, I sent over 6 emails for an eta and never received a response. They have these strict policies that they don’t abide by. The seller should of never sold the item to someone else. According tot their site, the item should of been received 7 days later after the sale, we had a legal binding agreement. Stay far away from them. I had better experience with eBay.

We are sorry you had this experience, you're right to be frustrated. When someone wins an item, they should never be left in the dark, especially for two months. That’s not the level of service we promise, and we understand how disappointing and unfair this must have felt.
You're also right, if a seller backs out, we should be upfront and proactive about communicating that. No excuses. We’re actively working on improving support response times and seller accountability to avoid situations like this in the future.
As a gesture of goodwill, we’d like to offer you free shipping on a future order if you decide to give us another shot. And if you’d like to talk directly about this case, we are more than happy to follow up and help however we can.
Thank you for the honest feedback, it helps us improve.

I contacted this company over a year…
I contacted this company over a year ago , I had decided to sell my comic book collection which I had amassed over 50 years as my daughters were going to university. This is an online auction company and you can consign comics to them for sale. On their website it said that they took a commission of 10% and if payments were by credit card, they took 13% . They also took an extra $5 dollar extra commission on sales under $50 . I explained that I had never sold before and needed advice and assistance as I thought they were a reputable company . I was contacted by one of their assistants who told me it would be no problem , I was to consign the list of comics I wanted to sell initially and they would do the rest . Via email he forwarded an agreement which I signed and returned . I had noticed the commission part had been left blank and naively thought this would be completed by the company . I sent a total of 30 comics , including Uncanny X Men 4 , 94 , 95 , Fantastic Four 48 , 49 , 50 and 52 along with other collectible issues . They were eventually put on sale and I was contented at first with the prices they were selling for less the ' small ' ( quote ) commission . A written accounting was to be forwarded regarding the amount the comics sold for . The person I had been dealing with had left the company and after the sale , when the funds came through to my bank , there was considerably less than I had expected . I had NOT received any written accounting and when I contacted Comic Connect , I received an email stating the commission charge was 25% . I contacted them again and was told by one of the staff that she had pulled the agreement and ' unfortunately ' the commission amount had been left blank therefore they were charging a ´mandatory ´ 25% commission. I questioned this as it never mentioned this amount on their website , I was told that as the comics I had sent were not already graded , they were classed as ´raw ´and the commission was 25 % . If I had been informed the commission was so much , I would NEVER have consigned to this company . I messaged to her that I was very disappointed and I received a reply stating that she was sorry I was disappointed and in terms of the agreement , the way forward was still 25% .I was having no way forward and I lettered the company CEO where I informed him there was nowhere on their website stating the commission for ungraded comics was 25% , he did eventually reply to me via email and said that the normal commission for ungraded comics was indeed 25% as their employees did the grading and if they charged any less they would lose money !!! They had as a ' courtesy ' offered me 20% on the comics that sold for over $500, but the rest were being charged at the 25% rate and he considered that fair . Due to this , I lost a considerable amount of money to this company. I realise now I should have been more aware when I had noticed the commission amount had been left blank however as I said I had never sold before and will be VERY VERY wary if I do so in future . To date I have still not received a full written accounting of the entire sale . Comic Connect is a multi million dollar company and did not need to treat a customer like this . I have terminated the agreement and I will NOT be dealing with them again . Anyone else considering dealing with them , ensure you have the commission amount detailed in writing before you decide to consign .

Kenneth, we are truly sorry for your experience. We can tell how much your collection meant to you, not just financially, but personally, and we regret that you walked away feeling disappointed and misinformed. That’s not the kind of experience we want anyone to have with us.
When someone entrusts us with their books, especially a collection built over 50 years, we take that seriously. We clearly failed to communicate the commission terms clearly in your case, and while our standard policy for ungraded books is 25%, it should’ve been plainly outlined from the start, not left to assumption. That’s on us.
We also want to apologize for the delay in providing a full written accounting. You had every right to expect clarity and transparency, and we’re sorry we didn’t deliver on that fully.
If you're ever open to revisiting this, we’d like to offer you free shipping on any future transaction, and more importantly, a direct line of communication with someone on our team who can ensure everything is crystal clear from day one.
Thank you again for the detailed feedback, even though it’s tough to read, it helps us improve.
