I recently attended an eBay live show and bought a couple of books. Got some really good deals too! The host was great and (most importantly) the books shipped out fast. Will be back for another round. A+

I've bought from them a couple of times a year for 3-4 years, but the last two orders were really problematic- the first was their December auction that I paid for within a few days- took until the middle of February to send (6 weeks).  I then bid on their February auction and they still haven't shipped nearly 3 mths after payment as they can't locate one of the books.  After the December package arrived (after the close of the February auction) I realised it was missing two books totalling $220 (from an order of 16 books). I didn't realise they were missing immediately and contacted them about a month after the package arrived, but haven't had an answer yet about any solution. I will be making a theft complaint if they haven't worked it out in the next few days.  They have another big auction about to close in the next few days but I won't be bidding on it, deplorable service after having bought from them for years.  Something appears to be going very wrong with their stock management.  Update: The response here by comicconnect wasn't genuine. I was refunded the cost of the 2 lost books, no free shipping offered.

Fantastic company, I have always been extremely pleased with the books/comics I have purchased and general customer service from Metropolis. I have already recommended them to my fellow fans of the Comic world.

Great office in midtown Manhattan. You can tell these guys mean business, and most importantly, truly appreciate the hobby based on the art and poster collection proudly displayed and owned by the owners of the company. A museum and a business all in one. If you have questions about art specifically, ask for Micah. He's a super nice guy and can chat with you for hours with no pressure or expectation of doing business. Flexible, competitive rates for consignment of comics, art and other collectibles , and fair when it comes to purchasing, give these guys a jingle.

My experience with Comicconnect was a pure pleasure. The helpful and knowledgeable staff helped me find what I was looking for. I ordered what I wanted and I think I got a very fair price. Not sure why the low scores, but my experience was 5-stars. I got the bronze age X-Men I'd been looking for forever, at the price I wanted and had it in my hands in 5-days, packed up nice and tight.
