CometChatReviews of cometchat.com

Terrible just terrible. Asking each month money after you bought this script for very big money. They are cheaters. never have any deals with them.

Their support have after two months not been able to help me install a very simple integration on my website. It has been filled with bugs, such as the chat not showing on some browsers and the chat telling logged in users to log. They were also not able to get two chat windows to be active at the same time, even though they keep on insisting it is possible. During our live sessions it is like they try out their code for the first time, when trying to integrate it on my page. They also lack common programming skills, such as blaming their failing javascript code (js run time errors) on the css width of the chat window... Still awaiting my refund...

The service is not good at all, making follow up related to an issue from last 1 month and they do not have a solution for it, the only answer we get all issues will be resolved in next version. God knows when they will have new version.

Cometchat doesn´t respect customers, changed commercial plans, increased a lot the price for the same features. Updates only for the new clients, don't inform about in any channel how to go to cloud service. All customers have a license with free updates included, but Cometchat doesn´t care. Think before buying...Happen to me, will happen to you.

This company is now unresponsive except when they want your money. I recently purchased the Platinum self hosted edition for close to $500 as well as the mobile edition for another $500. I asked their team to install it and before I could even launch, there were bugs. I'm supposed to have premium phone support and priority email/chat support with my package but can't reach anybody. It's a never ending revolving door. The phone number is US only (I'm in Canada) and I haven't received a response to multiple support requests for days so I can launch my site. They had no problem taking my thousand bucks and nobody told me they would be changing their platform and that mine would be obsolete before I could even use it. Cometchat...what is going on? Or are you going out of business?

They have screwed their customers over a peach. They've updated their licensing without telling customers and then want extra money (hundreds) on what we've already paid. Four years we've been with them and spent about 3-4 thousand and this is how we get treated. All these reviews rating it 5* are FAKE! THESE ARE ALL FAKE REVIEWS FROM THE COMPANY. ALL NEW. ALL FROM INDIA. FAKE! AVOID!!! Tickets take forever to get resolved, when they get back to you (finally) they send screenshots with a noted attached simply saying "It works here" - but they don't check all the issues or the main issue you report. This puts you in revolving doors of them taking forever to answer. When they do, you can guarantee it's a Friday evening before they log off - leaving you as is. Honestly, you are getting ripped off if you go with this lot of cowboys.

It integrates quickly with no hassle. I like their range of features, I do not use all of them but it sure does give me lots of variety to pick & choose from. I especially like role based access control, requires no coding at all! Look forward to a good service!

This company is a fraud! They just changed their licensing and screwed all existing customers. FAKE 5-STAR REVIEWS. Look at the dates... all August 9th and 10th!!!
