I was really excited to get what I ordered, but when I opened the box, it was someone else’s order. I sent an email to their customer service and heard back pretty quickly. She informed me that I would receive another tracking email when my package was sent out and that I could keep the order that I originally got.

Love the pressed shadows and eye/lip liners. I think you have some of the best value for the money in the business but your shipping!!! The last two times I’ve ordered processing took almost a full week. From the day I place my order till I receive it is 10 days to two weeks. It makes me not want to order off the website. I will get it in Ulta or wait until I talk myself out of ordering if it’s not available in stores.

Quality cosmetics for reasonable prices. Colourpop routinely releases high quality makeup (and skincare and tools!) and does so without throwing consumers into debt like many other beauty brands. Having been a frequent costumer since their inception in 2014, their products have always impressed me with their consistent quality and their ability to stay on top of and ahead of trends. However, there are two downsides to me that have emerged as of late... Number one, is the recent inclusion of NON EYE SAFE materials in their eyeshadow palettes. Across the industry certain pigments have always been unsafe around the eye but added glitters to palettes to me is almost inexcusable. Many of their fans also agree with me that the glitters should not be included but for whatever reason they're not listening to loyal customers like myself. It's for this reason that I can no longer recommend the brand to young teens getting into makeup because of the fear of them not realizing the dangers of MICRO PLASTICS near the eyes. Not taking care when applying or removing the glitters and one can experience a corneal abrasion which could lead to blindness. Obviously from a legal standpoint the brand adds a tiny warning to the back carton on their palettes but the brand has never expressed on their website, let alone in a live swatch video that the pressed glitters are not intended for the eye area. Frankly they do a huge disservice to customers' health and safety, and I no longer feel comfortable promoting products. Number two, is the plastic container on their monochromic palettes. ALL of their other palettes have a cardboard packaging with a magnetic closure. Yet I can only assume for aesthetic reasons, these palettes were deemed requiring hard plastics which will not be able to be broken down after being dumped into landfills for thousands and thousands of years. The earth is dying. Your aesthetics are less important that the health of billions of people. For this reason, I have never purchased any of the 15+ palettes released in hard plastic and frequently go out of my way to discourage my friends from purchasing. Fast-fashion and its pollution are the curse of capitalism For better or worse, they are not slowing down and likely never will. It is up to a consumer to make ethical decisions when a brand will not. Speaking for myself there are many reasons to love and adore Colourpop products. And unfortunately many stacking reasons to no longer purchase.

I was disappointed to see that my 15% off coupon, for signing up to get colourpop’s emails, did not work. I read the fine print and say that it expired in 7 days and that the order must exceed $20. It was not 7 days old and when I increased my order total to be over $20, it said it was not valid. So, I lowered my order amount to make it less expensive.

I'm upset cause I order the lipstick and I wore it twice then I went to put it on again and now it's completely gone and like the lipstick fell out of the tube :( I was really looking forward to wearing it again but now I can't
