I have used the Color Wow Dreamcoat for some time and have always been pleased with the results. I kept seeing the Extra Strength Dream Coat being advertised so was excited to try it. My hair went from thick, shiny and bouncy to dry, brittle and limp after using it. More alarmingly ever since the first use my hair has been falling out in clumps in the shower. I would say I’ve lost or broken a quarter of the hair that was on my head since then. Worse still, I’d got another bottle which I gave to my mother and was horrified when the same thing happened to her. I’m devastated as I’m getting married next year and my hair will never return to how it was by then, not to mention that what was meant to be a nice gift to my mum has also left her in a mess. Seeing the other reviews on here is really concerning. I don’t know whether it was a faulty batch or what but I’m not willing to try again. Absolutely devastated.

Bought the root cover up in platinum. Disappointed & not worth £29! Firstly it’s not platinum it’s a golden/yellow colour. Doesn’t cover up roots as well as promoted & doesn’t last. These companies false advertise products and it’s a rip off. Don’t waste your money.

I purchased this product for my wavy hair in hopes of reducing styling frequency and eliminating frizziness. However, after just three uses, I had to throw away the whole package. I immediately noticed my hair becoming dry, brittle, and prone to breakage. To make matters worse, my hair started falling out in clumps during showers. I rarely write reviews, but I felt the need to warn others: please do not buy this product. It might be suitable for different hair types, but for me, it wasn't worth the risk.

I ordered my usual products for which I had a 35% birthday discount code, however code didn't work and the full price was taken from my card. I sent Color Wow a email requesting that they apply the discount or cancel the order. The funds were returned to my card immediately. I then rang Color Wow and explained that I did want the products if they could apply the discount which the helpful lady did straight away. I love their products and I can only say from my own experience that their customer service is second to none.

I splashed out to buy all the most hyped about products that WoW hair advertised all over IG - the colour shampoo, the frizz tamer and the high volume spray. My natural hair has grown back to about 10cm but I still had the blond ends that I wanted to make frizz free while the rest of the hair grows back. I have been using the products once a week and my hair went from being slightly on the drier side (where I had my blonde ombre) to extremely frizzy, tangled, dry and unmanageable hair!!! Plus, I noticed much more hair loss which I haven't had for quite some time!! Needless to say that once I connected all the dots and discovered that it was actually from this WOW range, I binned all the products worth £70 and started my Olaplex hair recovery!! It will now take me ages and more money to recover my hair!!! IT IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING HOW THEY ARE SCAMMING PEOPLE and the worst thing is that they get away with it!! I will certainly be reporting them to all possible Consumer Standard authorities so that they are SHUT DOWN!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID and use OLAPLEX instead and DON'T FALL FOR THE 'AMAZING' COMMENTS AS IT'S ALL SCAM!!!

Dream coat is extremely drying. Used once and my hair feels like straw. Avoid and save your money.

I started with one product and now im using 4 different products from color wow line....IM IN LOVE WITH THEIR PRODUCTS!
