I would highly recommend Jon Tarella for Physics or Math tutoring. Jon expertly tutored both of my high school students to help them ace their college placement subject tests. Neither of my kids really required tutoring, but Jon was able to assess their knowledge and know exactly what they needed to achieve the top scores they needed to attend the highly competitive schools they were applying to. Most importantly, Jon's calm and reassuring nature gave them the confidence boost they needed right before the exams that ensured top performance. He is the BEST!

The experience was great and I felt like I was truly learning every time. When explanation was needed, I was given a very clear and in depth response so I learned to the fullest extent. I worked with Tanner for a few months and my scores went up a lot. It was always a friendly and relaxed environment which kept me motivated and engaged.

Jon tutored me last year as a junior for my ACT math and science and this year as a senior for AP Physics 1 and 2. His ability to explain concepts in a way that makes sense in a time-effective manner greatly improved my understanding of topics and thus my grades.

The Collegewise team helped me a lot with my college essays and test prep. Tanner Reive and Amy Leckinger were both absolutely amazing and beyond helpful. I would highly recommend them both to anyone.

We first met Jon after our oldest had a frustrating experience with a local tutor and was having a crisis of confidence. Jon was able to work with her on both the math and on getting her head right, no mean feat in the middle of Junior year. After that success, her younger brother and then sister both worked with Jon from the start and had great experiences. Three completely different kids and learning styles, but they all sung his praises.

great! tanner was kind and very helpful!

Tanner was very encouraging and supportive when he tutored my daughter in math. Would highly recommend.

Over the course of 4 years, Jon Tarella tutored my kids in ACT math and science and in school math, and he truly is amazing. Each of my three kids is a very different kind of learner, and Jon was able to tailor his style and approach in such a way that each was able to get exactly what they needed. He cares deeply and always had great insight and communication. Ultimately, my kids felt confident in their skills and practice and that translated to performance. He minimized the anxiety around test prep and that truly made the difference. I highly recommend Jon Tarella as a tutor and I absolutely sing his praises!
