Collegewise helped break down the otherwise daunting process of college admissions into manageable pieces. It was also very helpful in helping me research different schools and find the best fit for me. In particular, Rahsaan Burroughs, my counselor, provided a knowledgeable source of advice while always keeping things light and allowing me to voice my own opinions. Also all of my essays would have been horrible and impossible to manage without Collegewise helping with editing and providing deadlines. Would definitely recommend.

I have loved using collegewise for the past four years. At first I was a little nervous that I started too early (fall of Sophomore year), but quickly realized that it was probably the perfect time. I worked with Rahsaan Burroughs who was wonderful, understanding, and spaced out our early meetings so that I wasn’t overwhelmed, but was still getting stuff done. Meetings started to ramp up during Junior year spring while I was visiting colleges. Rahsaan helped me refine my search and suggest new colleges. During the summer before Senior year (when the essay writing began to become serious), he spaced out which ones I should be writing and gave me clear deadlines for when I should turn them into an editor. This was a really helpful process for me because we started with a brainstorming session, and then I started writing. The editor was great at helping me convey what I wanted to and cut down on word count at the same time. This continued into the beginning of the Fall, but by the time school started I largely had all my essays done (which was AMAZING as senior fall can be extremely stressful), so I didn’t have to worry about them. I was able to start with all the tedious work of filling out personal information in the Common App. Then when the application part was over, Rahsaan was there to discuss my options and hear what I thought about them. Overall, I had a very positive experience using Collegewise and I strongly recommend it to students applying for college.

Our family loves Matt! Before he started working with our older son we were overwhelmed by the college process and not looking forward to it. In our first meeting with Matt we knew we had found the right person to guide and support Quinn. He succeeded in making the process not only feel manageable, but exciting. He took the time to get to know our family's values as well as Quinn's interests and personality. He replied to every question, responding to emails promptly and reassuringly. Having support from Matt and Collegewise meant that we could enjoy time with Quinn rather than continually hounding him about how he was progressing on his college applications! Matt is now working with our younger son and we know he'll provide a supportive experience for him too.

My son has been working with Tanner Reive for SAT tutoring, and it's been an excellent experience. I requested that Tanner be his tutor based on hundreds of positive reviews, and we couldn't be happier with him. Tanner is thorough, thoughtful in how he approaches the material, and connects well with my son. He's also very communicative with parents and provides a peace of mind that's needed during this stressful period. Thanks to the weekly sessions with Tanner, my son's scores and confidence continues to increase.

Collegewise made the process of applying to colleges so much easier to navigate. There was a very clear agenda to follow and it broke the plan into smaller, more doable parts. Ali was incredibly helpful and has a very deep understanding of the application process. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out!

Absolutely amazing experience!! As a first generation college student, attacking the college admissions process with no real knowledge or background experience was daunting, but working with Kate Strzelecki made the process so approachable and easy. Immediately I was given tasks to help narrow down my college picks, brainstorm essays, and material that broke down the college admissions process simply. I am so happy with my result in working with College Wise, and I am forever grateful to Kate and the editing team lol but mostly Kate she's the best in the business.

I’m writing as a parent of a recent high school graduate - we had a wonderful experience with Shruti and can’t recommend her and Collegewise enough. She developed a true relationship with my son and he felt supported throughout the process, and felt very comfortable with Shruti. She gave us very actionable and realistic advice, and also assisted us in my son’s search outside of the US by researching the schools we were interested in considering. The result of the whole process was a happy and not-insanely-stressed-out kid, going to a college he’s very happy about, as are his parents.
