Our experience at Southwest ISD San Antonio TX SAT testing location was extremely disappointing. The campus is very large and difficult to navigate, yet there were virtually no signs, directional markers, maps, or personnel available to help students and parents find the SAT check-in area. My daughter missed her SAT exam despite making every reasonable effort to arrive on time. Consequently, she will miss college admission deadlines. We arrived with sufficient time before the exam but spent more than 30 minutes driving around the campus trying to locate the testing location. There was no contact number available for assistance and no visible guidance directing SAT test-takers where to go. We called college board customer support and after a long time of waiting, verification, and all kind of questions, finally they started looking up the test center, but they didn’t have a phone number to call nor couldn’t help us locate the test center.

Absolutely appalling company. How they have been given the monopoly of SAT testing is a scandal. They are hopeless, unhelpful and inefficient beyond belief. My son was registered with the wrong date of birth. No problem, these things happen and should be a quick fix. Oh no. Having provided his passport, birth certificate, and driver's permit, emailed three times, called three times, it is now coming up for three weeks and they still have not managed to correct his date of birth (thus he remains unable to take any tests because his ID does not match the College Board details). The customer service assistants speak very poor English and are unable to offer any help whatsoever (I keep trying hoping to get a good one but after three times I have kind of seen the pattern). There is no one there to talk to properly and no refunds given (for the test he missed because of the wrong details).

The worst customer service ever.

Terrible customer service. No ability to speak to anyone with any authority or knowledge for solutions. Complete disconnection between call center and oraganizations administration . Disaster of an organization to deal with complex issues. They are also denying our religious freedoms as there are no equitable options for Sunday testing and they offer no solutions.

This company makes so much money yet they have the most user unfriendly website ever. I have used it for more than 5 years and still have no clue how to find anything on the site. From a teachers perspective, you should be able to pick and choose pieces of FRQs to assign to students (not just be forced to assign the whole thing). I should also be able to remove mcq options (especially since they have their old 5 answer options on there). There are countless mistakes on their question bank, but if you email them, you never get a response and they don’t fix it. I can’t believe how much money they make and have such a crap product. These schools should tell college board to fix this or not use them.

This is just a money machine for a company with very poor customer service. Between the difficulty getting a device (for a test REQUIRING a device) and trying to talk to customer service - I completely get why people are doing more ACT testing. ACT testing can give you a paper option AND they don't rig your score as you go through the test. On the SAT, if you don't get at least 80% correct on the first section, you will never get above the 1100's. This company is a JOKE.

Typical souless and heartless corporation. If people saw the level of corporate influence (endless tests with no educational validity) in public education, they would home school their children. Corporations like College Board are evil and have no place in education

This company is a cash grab, nothing else. Tried to have my son sit this exam at his school, there were places available and they claimed their computers could not give him one. They have sold information to other companies, its just one big money spinner. And what's worse is that the U.S. universities buy into this crap.
