I've had a great experience onboarding to Collective. Every step of the way, everyone I've interacted with has treated me with respect and kindness despite my woefully inadequate knowledge of tax law. But that's why Collective is here—so I can focus on what I do and they can make sure I don't get audited/arrested for inadvertently breaking tax law.

Collective has made it very easy for me to run my solo practitioner business as an s-corp and manage may payroll, taxes, accounting etc. Very seamless to manage a small business LLC as an s-corp

Collective has made everything so much easier for me in my busy schedule and being an entrepreneur in the music industry. When I have questions about any issue, they are quick and efficient to answering. They keep everything organized and accessible when needed for meetings and investments. I always refer them to people. I really appreciate their work. It gives me peace of mind. Thank you, Collective Team.

Tl;dr: -They messed up my takes and I owed >$17k -I paid a ton of $$ in penalties -Nobody would explain how to even pay these taxes or make the payments--I had to tell them -When I tried to get in touch with them, nobody responded to me -My business went under as a result and I had to move back with my parents I can't believe I got scammed like that 😂😂😂

Using Collective has been by far the biggest tax mistake I've made for my business. I've lost a large portion of my income due to straight up bad advice that Collective provided me with and took no accountability for. They are impossible to communicate with, don't give clear or timely answers, and consistently make mistakes. This is the last thing I wanted to deal with when running a business, this company is borderline fraudulent and I'm considering legal action it's so disastrous. I still can't get a response from them.

In theory, this should be a great service. It looks wonderful on paper. In practice nobody knows what is going on and the staff doesn’t communicate well with each other. You’ll wind up having a different person working on your account every single week and nobody has any coherent sense of what is going on. Good luck getting any questions answered in a timely manner or having accurate bookkeeping. Upper management claims to care about feedback but that doesn’t do anything to fix the problems. Stay away.

Absolutely phenomenal experience so far. Seamless onboarding, fast response times, I couldn't be happier.

Collective has helped get my business in shape with LLC filing, taxes, bookkeeping and more (like payroll!). They always keep me updated on deadlines and organized with their portal.
