Buying our first home was a hurdle but Caroline Baker helped us every step of the way. She was knowledgeable and supportive. She kept us and the mortgage company we were working with on point. She was always available to talk to or text! I doubt we would've made it to the close with out her guidance!!!

Tampa Office and Homeless People Laying Out Front
While going to the office in Tampa off Bruce B Downs right by the Publix, I couldn't enter the office because homeless people were laying outside in front of the office. I don't need to step over homeless people in order to do business with anyone. Please clean up your entrace and making it safer for people to come into the office. The front desk person obviously doesn't care.

Rude and unprofessional
Don’t know who yall are and I have never done business with this establishment, but a reverse search on the phone number points back to a Markus Allen? Not sure because he was very rude and unprofessional. They called late in the evening, said he needed to do a “home inspection” but refused to relay any information outside of I may be doing business with “A Bank” super sketchy! So now I’m curious has my information been stolen and or sold? Who is this mysterious individual calling my home while I’m trying to put my kids in bed asking to photograph my home with no explanation. Why did said person get so offended when I asked questions trying to figure who they were and why they were calling. Who’s the “vendor” they referred to? It’s all unclear but if that’s how the people potentially represent this company behave count me out. I don’t know who you are and if you can tell me why you’re calling and explain your business then there is no business to be had.

Couldn't get the job done!
My daughter entrusted John Barnett from Coldwell Banker Florence, OR with selling her Airbnb property. Early in the process, a couple made an offer and put $2,000 down as earnest money. A closing date was scheduled, but when that date arrived, the couple postponed the closing. Another date was scheduled, and they postponed again. This continued for months.
During this time, my daughter repeatedly tried to contact John, but he would not return her calls or adequately explain what was happening. Eventually, after months of delays, the couple finally appeared at the closing table—only to say that they had changed their minds and wanted their $2,000 earnest money returned.
The buyers' behavior was certainly inconsiderate and, from our perspective, dishonest. But what is equally troubling is John’s handling of the situation. Why did he allow this transaction to drag on for months, with repeated postponements, rather than taking action to protect my daughter’s interests? Why was my daughter not advised of her options under the purchase agreement? Why wasn't she kept informed, and why weren't the buyers held to the terms and deadlines of the purchase agreement? The listing expired without a sale.

We deeply regret choosing Jeff Berg as our realtor.
We deeply regret choosing Jeff Berg and Greg to represent us in the sale of our home. Throughout the process, we felt their primary focus was simply getting the deal closed, often at our expense.
Whenever an issue arose, we felt pressured to make concessions quickly rather than having our interests advocated for or other solutions properly negotiated. Too often, the answer seemed to be for us to give more just to keep the deal moving.
We understand that compromise is part of selling a home, but we hired professionals expecting them to represent and protect our interests. Unfortunately, we never felt supported or truly represented during this transaction.
We are extremely disappointed with our experience and, knowing what we know now, would not choose this team again.

Coldwell Banker is now charging buyers and sellers a $359 administrative fee in addition to the negotiated real estate commission.
As a former Coldwell Banker agent, I was shocked to see that Coldwell Banker is now charging buyers and sellers a $359 administrative fee in addition to the negotiated real estate commission.
When I worked for Coldwell Banker, the company already retained 35% of the agent's commission, and agents were charged a $200+/- transaction fee on every closing. Those fees were presented as covering the brokerage's administrative and transaction costs. Charging clients an additional administrative fee on top of that is excessive.
With my recent purchase, the contract required me to pay this $359 fee. The seller agreed to pay the 3% buyer’s agent commission, but not the $359 fee. Fortunately, my agent chose to pay it herself because she didn't think it was fair to pass it on to me. She provided outstanding service, and my criticism certainly is not directed at her.
I believe this fee should either be included in the brokerage's share of the commission—not automatically added to a client's closing costs.
Real estate commissions are already substantial. Adding another administrative charge without providing additional value leaves a poor impression and, in my opinion, is not a customer-friendly business practice. I am disappointed in Coldwell Banker.

The real estate agent did not communicate and when she did it was that we needed to paint, so we painted the whole house and packed everything per her request why the townhouse was not selling and nothing changed for months after that. She sent a text message she was leaving for Paris 2 days before her departure which I am sure she knew she was leaving quite awhile prior to her message to us and didn't contact us for 9 days. She was not responsible or committed to her job as a real estate agent.
She stated in her message someone from the CB office would be following up with us during the week she was gone, no one contacted us which wasn't a surprise because she has no communication skills what so ever. It was a gigantic mistake to ever hire her.
When another realtor brought their client for a showing she would show up and follow them around during the showing which is very unprofessional but not a surprise coming from her because she was never professional during the 7 months she was listed as our agent and could not sell our townhouse. We listed with another company that was referred to us and sold our townhouse in 5 weeks. He was professional, and communicated with us on a weekly basis and actually acted interested in selling. She has other townhomes in Fountain Parke, Lake Mary FL she can't sell those either and has had them for months.
