The air only reaches one meter on full power, my old argos fan air reaches 5 meters cooling, Got taken in with advert, and asked to return it, but was told to send it back to China and pay for post. Did not say that when purchasing Or except 15dolars compensation. It is a scam. And stick to highstreet shops in future.

Like a lot of people, bought this without looking at reviews. If it is "too good to be true" then it is. It lasts about 30 mins. When charging the USB port becomes extremely hot. Obviously you can return and get a refund but the shipping will cost you the same as what you purchased the item from. The only good thing, I was offered $15 as compensation, so just over £10. AVOID at all costs.

The unit claims to drop a 46m2 room from 34ºC to 20ºC in four minutes. Even just cooling that much air down (disregarding any heat in the walls, floor, furniture etc), you need to extract 1.9MJ worth of energy from the air. Let's also just assume 100% efficiency just to be fair: you’d need 8kW to do that in just four minutes, plus additional power to run a giant fan to pull the air through the unit in the first place. Pretty hard to draw 35A worth out of a standard 13A household socket ! Also, note that this thing claims to save energy. It is physically impossible to achieve this.

Complete and utter scam! It was advertised as a Portable A/C unit, it is just a FAN! I paid £100 for 2, yet my £5 fan from Home Bargains cools the same! I am totally annoyed and pursuing a refund, but of course it comes from China, so who the heck knows if I will get my money back.

If I could give zero I would, ordered 2 took an age to arrive, came today, what a load of rubbish, this company is a disgrace, all I got was a very basic fan, useless, not holding out for any refund, probably sell on Vinted or just dump them!!!

Interesting that the reviews on Coldeez’s website are so different from on trustpilot even though they say they are verified! This is a basic fan that does not have any capacity to cool, it recirculates air only. Virtually all of the text on their website is misleading and I will report it to the ASA. It took weeks from ordering to receipt and I paid a lot more for it than on Amazon for example.
