Fast and thorough

I have intracranial hypertension, that was diagnosed after a Cerebral Spinal Fluid Leak (CSF Leak) from my brain. When the leak first started, it was a clear water like fluid that only dripped out of my left nostril. After 2 weeks, and no medicine helping (I thought I had a cold), I finally Googled my symptoms and was pretty sure it was a CSF Leak. Went to the ER, they didn't agree, and made me wait all day in the waiting room. When I finally saw the ER Dr., he didn't believe me either, and wanted to send me home with the diagnoses of post nasal drip. I pleaded with him to at least do a test to see. He told me he could give me a CT scan, it was easy to push a button! I agreed to have it, but when he left I started to doubt myself, almost canceled it. The hospital clergy man came in to check on me. He didn't disbelieve me, but prayed that God would show the Dr what was wrong. The Dr came back, and I had a CSF Leak! I say all of this to point out that Cody.MD got it correct the first try. It was only a 40% probability, but it was #1 on his list of possible diagnosis. Maybe Dr's should type their patients symptoms here to get a second opinion!!! Thank You, Cody. One of the last things that ER Dr told me was...good for Googling. I wish I had known about Cody.MD then!
