I did not feel very welcome at the location. First, the forms I filled out online the night before the appointment were not received. When I expressed disappointment to the front desk, they made me feel like I was the bad guy. The reason for my visit was for what is going to be a very extensive and time consuming effort. The doctor did not do a very good job explaining to me the procedures and timeline for what needed to be done. I had to call him back and go over things a couple times before I was informed. He seemed to be irritated by my questions. I will be seeking another option for the work I need to be done. The only good thing I can say is the location got me in quick to confirm what I thought would needed to be done.

I was okay with quality of Coast Dentist assistance. Until the middle of my dentist care,for the nurse assistance to tell me they have to contact my health insurance company to if they would pay for dentist work,which I only received x-rays at that time. Once the assistant left the room. She came back to me have to come back another day for gum treatment and deep cleaning. Because they need amp of time to see if the insurance going to pay for services that I needed. I was so mad. I this appointment one month in advance. I feel that this information should have been check out before hand. I was so excited to start getting my teeth fill and my gum treated. I was so disappointed and let down during this appointment, The facility didn't check with my health insurance. I loss 4 hours time off my job. I'm a Dissatisfied customer with Coast Dentist

Where to start. This was a decent dental clinic, I'm not sure what happened but they are terrible now. After my last routine cleaning, they gave massive list of issues that I would need to get fixed. With any big purchase like this, I thought it would be good to get a second opinion, and boy am I glad I did. The next dental office I went to took a look, and said I needed a cleaning (again?) but that there was no cavities. I double checked on that since Coast dental made it clear I needed to get a filling. The new office went as far as to show me the Xrays confirming I did NOT need the fillings. I switched over to the new office, and thought that was the end. Almost a year later, I get a random bill from Coast Dental. Trying to reach the office for an explanation is nearly impossible. The best bet option is to call all the branches until you reach someone, they'll have another number they can call to get ahold of you local office.

When you have to discuss people financial issues it should be done privately not yelling it out in your lobby.

Multiple times, we have shown up for our appointments, only for them to not have them on the books. Extremely frustrating, as it is a waste of time. Apparently, if you don't call them back when they call you to confirm your appointment that they made for you (not a text nor an email, an actual phone call), they cancel your appointment. This is not a great business practice. That being said, the dentist and hygienist are very nice.

the dental assistant was nice, Older gentleman Dentist was also friendly, both a little pushy. said my 13yr old daughters tooth didnt clear her gum all the way and they needed to cut some of it back so she was not in pain. When I returned for the appointment 2 days later, I was told that I was not aloud in the room while the procedure was being done. Sorry but im not allowing my daughter to go through that alone. so We said no thank you and got it taken care of somewhere else.
