Jiten’s upbeat tones could be heard throughout my house and I found my son enjoying his time with him. Often asking questions about what techniques were being purposed. Jiten took so much time explaining to me what was going on and the effort put in was like no other.

My son is loving his coach Derek. I have to thank you for the work you’ve done thus far. The work you’re doing is purpose driven and important. Helping to shape young minds in a positive direction is so major. Again, thank you.

Coachbit has helped me truly focus the bulk of my energy on being my 13-year-old son's mom rather than engaging in my role as a School Psychologist with him. I would tend to bring in the resources and strategies I use in my job, and I was losing site of simply being his mom. I have watched my son be more open to the importance of strategies and skills need to be successful in school. He is starting to take the lead on organizing his space and independently identifying when he will complete any homework he has. He has also started talking a little bit with me about habits and how they are built. I appreciate he is making small steps forward and while he may not always show appreciation for what he is learning in his Coachbit coaching sessions (he is after all a 13-year-old who would rather be shooting hoops, hanging out with his friends, or checking out the latest in the sports world), is starting to take shape in his everyday actions. I appreciate what Coachbit has provided him.

Update 3/17/22 Ken called me to follow up within hours. He listened, validated my concerns, and reassured me that these unfortunate events were not the norm with coachbit. My daughter was connected with a great coach and things seem to be going great now. The coach has communicated with me frequently and Mike from customer care has also followed up with me twice. I’m so glad I didn’t give up on coachbit because of a couple of mishaps. Update 3/11/22- I was assured that someone would call us at a specific time this morning. We got up early and got ready for school, waited, and again were let down. The people at coachbit are breaking trust before it is even built. People seeking this service are in need of support and we got exactly the opposite, a negative disruptive experience added to our already overwhelming schedule. I will be taking my business elsewhere. They talk a great game but don’t back it up with actions. Very poor business. 3/10/22 I signed up for coach bit and paid for a year in full. A call was scheduled. The rep never called us. A couple hours later she emailed apologizing that their system was down and gave us a link to reschedule. The link contained times over the next 5 days before 6am, after 11pm, and during the school day only. This is unreasonable. This is definitely not a good first impression.

Hi Lisa, thank you for your review. I am really sorry we weren’t able to connect with you at the pre-arranged time last night. Having an unmet expectation is simply not acceptable. Your experience is far from the kind of first impression we seek to provide. I have taken steps to deal with this egregious error swiftly. I’ve also implemented changes that will ensure that something like this doesn’t happen again. My hope is that you’ll afford us the opportunity to rectify this mistake and change your experience. I’ve sent you a mail and will also reach out via phone call later today to discuss your experience and the way forward. If you need to reach me for whatever reason please send me a mail [email protected] Sincerely, Mike Cheney Head of Customer Experience

We had tried private tutors that came highly recommended and charged $150+ an hour, and my 13-year-old daughter hated the experience. So I didn't have high hopes for this service. But after 3 months of coaching, I couldn't be more impressed with how effective it is! I think the short, daily check-ins are brilliant. It keeps my daughter motivated without overwhelming her. Her coach Sydney is really warm and skilled, and my daughter wants to please her. My daughter tends to butt heads with teachers and tutors sometimes and get into power struggles, so we're so happy she has a good relationship with Sydney. Since starting Coachbit, she's taken much more ownership over her routines and her schoolwork. No more missed assignments :) And even better, she seems to feel better and feel more confident. Thank you, Coachbit and Sydney!!

Our son started with Coach Bit after his first semester at College. His executive functioning skills were well supported at the elementary and secondary level, but the immediate independence in college (with almost 2 years of remote education from COVID thrown in) was overwhelming. Thank you Coach Rob for working with our son, helping him to gain more control of his day, so that those failing grades are being replaced by confident, successful, complete, timely, accountable work. (It doesn't hurt that daily coaching sessions are set up to make sure he gets up for early classes, too!) Our son says that the sessions are helping, and if his marked turn around is any indication, he is right! Thanks Coach Rob.

Our experience with Coachbit has been very positive. I am very impressed with my 14 year old daughter’s coach. Her coach Ayesha is very smart and encouraging. My daughter Lucy connected with her quickly. Some people were born with a knack for organizing but that does not run in our family. I am very glad there are coaches now like Ayesha who teach this in high school so it can be learned before college. Lucy’s coach lives in South Africa and we live in the U. S., in New Jersey, so the coach is completely virtual. I didn’t know if virtual coaching would work with my daughter since virtual school definitely did not work for her. Virtual coaching which just checking in each week day for a brief fifteen minute period, this definitely works. The fact that Coach Ayesha is in South Africa while we are here actually helps, I think. Lucy has never been to South Africa or anywhere in Africa, so I suspect she is curious about her mentor and her life halfway around the globe. So far, Ayesha has coached Lucy for a month. We needed help immediately with morning routine because Lucy was struggling to get to school on time, and it was stressing out the whole family. After getting coached by Ayesha for about a week, she started get to school on time, thank goodness!
