I went through the same situation many others here are describing; I just submitted my cancellation request after being forced to stay locked into the service for three months—paying $199—only to discover, just when I thought I’d be free (after months of stress trying to find a class that fit my schedule), that I’m being forced to pay for another month of service I won't use. They require 30 days' notice for cancellation, even though I don't even have any classes scheduled anymore. What they’re doing is incredibly unfair. The only other option they offered was to freeze my membership and keep paying a monthly fee until I decided to return. I’ve never seen anything like this in my life! The instructors are great and very kind, but the scheduling system and their cancellation policy are completely wrong.

I joined Club Pilates for the first…
I joined Club Pilates for the first class because I thought it would help me in my strength training. As a guy it did very very little for me. I signed up for the first month. I thought I’m gonna go ahead and do my best and work through it and I see no results I went to go and stop my membership and they go oh you’re forced in paying 90 days whether you like it or not. I said when were you guys gonna tell me this they never did they just forced you into a membership. I would not use this facility for Pilates or any other thing very deceptive practices.

Horrible experience . I have had medical issues after having my daughter and due to such I am left in limbo as to continuing Pilates until I get more results following testing . For an establishment with such rigid cancellation terms it’s ridiculous you can’t get in touch with someone on the weekend let alone on the phone any day of the week . I’m paying for this service and it’s as if I sold my soul to this place. They have lost a client ! Before you sign up remember joe incredibly hard it is to leave .

⭐ I Would Not Recommend Club Pilates
⭐ I Would Not Recommend Club Pilates
Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend Club Pilates at all.
During approximately my first month, I only attended about 3–4 times, yet I ended up being charged close to $600. I was dealing with an emergency situation and tried to communicate my circumstances, but I felt there was very little consideration or understanding.
What disappointed me the most was the poor communication and lack of compassion. I understand that every business has policies, but good customer service should also mean listening to your customers and making a reasonable effort to work with them when unexpected situations happen.
Instead, I felt that the priority was simply collecting money rather than addressing my concerns or finding a reasonable solution. For someone who barely used the service, being charged almost $600 was extremely disappointing.
I expected much better communication and customer care. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling that I was valued more for the payments they could collect than as a customer.
I would not recommend Club Pilates based on the way my situation was handled.

⭐☆☆☆☆ 1 Star
⭐☆☆☆☆ 1 Star – Avoid Club Pilates (17th Street, Fort Lauderdale)
I wish someone had warned me before I invested my time and money here.
The biggest problem is their cancellation process. This location serves many yacht crew members and seasonal workers who typically stay in Florida for only about six months. Instead of allowing customers to cancel without hassle, they pressure you to keep paying the $25 monthly membership hold fee so you don’t “lose your spot.”
I had no intention of returning, so I clearly requested to cancel my membership. At the time, they confirmed that my cancellation had been processed. Then, about a month later, the nightmare began.
I started receiving phone calls and emails claiming that I owed money because, according to them, I had never requested cancellation. Even after I provided proof that I had canceled, they continued adding more months of charges to my account.
I even offered to pay one additional month just to resolve the situation and be left alone. Shockingly, the representative told me they could not guarantee that the billing would stop even if I paid. That is completely unacceptable.
To make matters worse, during my time at Club Pilates I developed significant pain in one of my legs. I am now in physical therapy, where I was diagnosed with an injury consistent with improper movement mechanics. One of the biggest issues with the classes is that instructors often give verbal instructions to the entire class without adequately correcting each person’s posture or form. Pilates requires proper alignment, and without sufficient supervision, injuries can happen.
Between the aggressive billing practices, the endless collection attempts after cancellation, and my negative physical experience, I cannot recommend this studio.
If you’re considering joining, be sure to fully understand the cancellation policy before signing anything. My experience has been extremely frustrating, and I genuinely wish I had been warned beforehand.

Contract not worth it
I signed up for the 4 times per month at the New Braunfels, TX location on June 14. I had one credit remaining on July 13 and when I tried to book something it shows no credits available. I called the studio and they told me it expires in the 30th day( but really the 29th) day because it’s not available to use on the 30th day because they already took it away. She added it back but now everything is full and I can’t use it. Most classes are full and if you don’t sign up for the unlimited classes (almost $200 per month) you shouldn’t sign up at all. It’s not worth it and you don’t get to use your credits. You have to cancel 12 hours ahead of time and you can’t book far out because they don’t release credits each month till charge comes out. Save yourself time and really look into the contract before signing up. I have one more month and I’m cancelling mine.

I would give 0 stars if I could on their membership policy
The studio itself is inviting, and the staff and instructors are genuinely kind. Unfortunately, the business practices are extremely unfair, and you end up giving them money for nothing.
When you buy a package, you only have 30 days to use your classes, and you’re charged every month whether you can attend or not. This setup is not designed for someone who works full-time. I was just charged another $109 even though I haven’t been able to use the classes I already paid for. Cancelling costs money, and putting your membership on hold requires a doctor’s note — which feels unnecessary and frankly insulting. I’m not in third grade, and they’re not my employer.
To avoid losing your money, you have to rebook before they charge you again. The problem is that the classes you need are often full. What’s left are 6 AM classes or midday classes that don’t work for most working adults. Otherwise, you’re stuck on a waitlist and might get notified only two hours before class, which is not realistic when you have a job and a life to plan.
On top of that, I was signed up for a class that was suddenly changed to a Level 2 class — something I cannot take as a beginner. The change was not my fault, yet I still lost that class. No credit, no accommodation, just another class gone.
I’ve tried to rebook, but for the next six weeks there are no classes available at my level. And you can’t move up without an instructor review, even if you’re not ready. So I’ve now paid $109 for something completely out of my control.
The people are great. The policies are not. Unless you’re retired or living off someone else’s money with nothing else to do all day, this membership structure is not realistic.
Zero stars for policies that punish paying customers

Good if you are retired
I would caution anyone considering a membership here. The booking system is structured in a way that makes it nearly impossible to actually use what you pay for — classes fill up weeks in advance and waitlist bookings hold your credits hostage even when you don't get in. Any unused classes at your billing date are simply lost, no rollover.
The class schedule is particularly frustrating on weekends — when most working people actually have time to go. There are only around five classes on Saturday and five on Sunday, with nothing offered past noon. Fridays are similarly limited after midday. The bulk of classes run Monday through Thursday, which works well for the retired clientele that makes up most of the membership base — but not for anyone with a standard work schedule.
When signing up I was told that if waitlists filled up they would introduce new classes — but with limited studio space that was never realistic and felt like a sales tactic. Classes that could fit more people are also sometimes capped lower with no explanation, while waitlists pile up.
There is no progression structure or instructor guidance on moving up to higher level classes. Every class cycles through basically the same exercises with minimal variation and nobody ever initiates a conversation about whether you're being challenged or ready to advance.
The cancellation policies are rigid and unaccommodating given how difficult it is to actually access classes in the first place.
The instructors themselves are pleasant — this is purely about a business model that feels designed around collecting fees rather than actually serving its members.
