After 14 years of lies and false promises—and after raking in a billion dollars—they are still active, but only to squeeze out more money, not to finish what they originally promised. I don't think they'll ever release anything at this point. Serial liars.

Orwellian-like control/censorship/astro-turfing
Their Astro-Turfing and censorship/control of their user's experiences are Orwellian!
If you complain, you are not allowed to mention "moderation:, or your post will be edited/deleted, or you could be banned (for 10 year - I know two people in my little group of about 30 players) who have already been banned for 10 years, JUST FOR ASKING UNCOMFORTABLE QUESTIONS!!!
You are also referred to their forum by their support desk, to ask your questions there, BUT, if you mention support, you are again, moderated/deleted.
I asked a technical question about one of their products, as I wished to purchase it. Their response was "We'd love to answer your questpon, but it is not available through this team. Feel free to ask questions on Spectrum (their forum)...you can visit the 'ask the devs' section...
I went to that section, indicated that I had asked the question directly to support, and included their response.
My post was moderated because I am not allowed to discuss moderation or support actions.

Amateur dev that are scamming people money for jpeg's. their engine is soo bad and they understand it so badly that the game have only regressed in the last 5 years , nothing is better , nothing is more stable , the server can t handle more then 3 ship firing at each other , ennemy dont even move anymore.
The game was litterly better in it first iteration of arena commander then it is now .
Dev have so little competence and imagination that everytime their only way to create challenge is to make somehing time waste that only jobless people would do because they have zero fun zero interest.
This company should be closed immediatly because their product is an obvious scam at this point , they use lies for 14 years to scam money out of people pocket so their 0 iq looser ceo and his miserable familly can take vacation on a yoat.

Review: The First Tarkov Descendent Dangerous - MMO Slop Grindfest
I took a break from 3.19 to 4.6 and just turned in for my very own Wikelo F7. How did this even make it into the game? This is a 100+-hour grind for a 1 1/2-man ship. Is this the vision they want throughout every system? Sitting and waiting for these comp boards is so FKN IMMERSIVE. As is, if they make ship tiers this grindy, I can confidently say I am just going to stay in Arena Commander for a few minutes between other games that respect my time.
IMO, Scrip should be enough to buy a ship from that Xeno rat. I had to do like 1000 solo bounty runs for all of my favors. They looked at ED's progression and really said, "Hold my beer." Grindy systems that should denote a real-life monetary reward for how much repeated and monotonous work you have to put in are not engaging. Most of the player base will either use RMT or just head to the store page during a sale, while they gleefully glaze this game in global chat without even interacting with the meat and potatoes of the game.
The "Quality Slop" & Fake Immersion
Don't even get me started on the SWG "quality slop" they implemented. SWG had quality and the best economy + crafting because things were actually automated. Now add in full loot, ship loadouts, item degradation, and whatever else they want to do to pull time from your waking life to stay grinding, and you've got yourself a few systems that are 53 cheeks of ass shitty.
Combat, FPS, and "Peanut Butter"
Ship combat is always my favorite part, but Master Modes has definitely changed the flight soul. Larger ships like the Corsair or Constellation feel like they are swimming in peanut butter. Don't even get me started on the Connie bed animations; you basically get to roll around in the peanut butter you fly in. Not to mention every action, pickup, etc has it's own insufferable bespoke animation that just slows your progress in the long run.
The FPS experience is just a mix of desync and wonky closet spawns. If you want to snag a backpack, you have to drop yours and risk losing your gun, your pack, and both secondary weapons to server tickrate. I rarely loot anything now out of fear of losing the entire loadout to a server hiccup.
Final Thoughts
New missions are cool when they work (ASDs, OLPs, QVs, and Rock Breaker). But killing the same three ships 100 times is so engaging. This is the FUTURE. This is space magic. This is a Whammers.
Shard sizes make the universe feel populated, but the "jank" is actually a result of tethering issues where the server and client disagree on where an object actually is. Until the networking can handle the volume of entities, the experience remains unpredictable.
Post-Script: I posted this on Spectrum and Reddit and was banned for a week+ on both platforms by their Stalin-like moderation team. Apparently, giving feedback on how these systems actually feel to play is a bridge too far for the people running those boards.

This company is a mess and disrespectful with their buyers
Don’t trust the products these people sell; it’s a complete scam. They’re never able to fix anything in their game, and on top of that, they treat their community like garbage.

I have been a customer of CIG (as a…
I have been a customer of CIG (as a Star Citizen customer) for over two years now.
Star Citizen is a game that has been in development for a very long time and, in my opinion, been reported as being a scam, which I totally disagree with. But that is not the reason I am here.
Star Citizen is a customer supported platform that only exists due to the pledges that their customers have paid in physical currency. Wherever they exist in the world. Over its long development CIG have offered their customers a forum to discuss the game in general as well as contribute to the development of the game through submitting bug reports through their 'Spectrum' forum. Namely their SC Testing forum.
Sadly. The moderation of this forum leaves a lot to be desired and represents a very low bar for internet forum moderators with seemingly only one person making all the mistakes. Forum members (paid customers) having their posts deleted for being 'off-topic'. Often for legitimate reasons to be fair, but sometimes for just being frustrated at having a bad day dealing with an unfortunate series of bugs in one hit. Situations that often destroy their reputation in game, or reduce their finances to cripplingly low levels and rendering their gameplay unplayable. Or at least to the point of no being remotely enjoyable.
A customer venting usually (when there is a moderator available) results in their post being deleted and having a publicly posted warning to them, like a naughty little child being told off in class. But sometimes these warnings are met with a total ban on being able to not only post on this important (to CIG) but to be able to read important patch information that I believe they really want us to be reporting on.
I have now been banned from posting on Spectrum HC Testing forum for an hour about 15 minutes ago. This is for warning another user that I have been (banned for less). I had my post deleted. Then I said "this is no way to treat your customer". And here I am. Shut out for a second time. Yes my bad for saying anything in there at all, let along posting a helpful bug report.
To be honest. If anyone wants to pledge to Star Citizen then I would say there are currently a load of reason to do so. But, if you want to risk being treated like a small child when you have an issue with the game during the reporting of issues to them (which again they really really want you to do) then the moderation on their forums is well WELL below any decent standard that any forum contributor would now be used to. And this is coming from a once senior moderator on what was once the internet's largest musical forums from around the 2000's to around 2011.
I'm now a player, non-financial contributor and non-tester. Well done Spectrum moderation. Wake up. Please wake up...
