Would Not Recommend Based on My Experience
I recently booked a paid consultation call with CloudHire for 249 INR after seeing their ads and claims about AI-based hiring and global placement. The experience wasn’t aligned with what was advertised. During the call, instead of walking through a structured process or providing career guidance, the representative immediately tried to push a 22,000 INR enrollment fee. When I declined, the call was disconnected abruptly, which was disappointing and unprofessional. There were several red flags during the discussion: • The resume walkthrough demonstrated using EnhanCV and Canva free templates, not proprietary AI or a premium workflow as advertised. • To convince me, the representative showed profiles of past candidates, but the information didn’t add up. – One profile was labeled as someone earning 40 LPA, but that same person appears to be an employee at CloudHire. – Another candidate shown is listed as being on a career break according to his public LinkedIn profile. • When one example didn’t support the sales pitch, the representative quickly switched to other random profiles, which felt scripted and manipulative rather than authentic. Following the disconnected call, I received an email (with someone CC’d) stating I would not be eligible for any future discounts or offers because I chose not to enroll. The tone felt unnecessarily punitive and unprofessional. Based on my experience, the process felt more like a rushed sales funnel than a legitimate mentorship or hiring program. Transparency, professionalism, and consistency in communication need serious improvement if CloudHire wants to build trust with candidates. Sharing this so others can make an informed decision before paying for the consultation.
