The password requirements were beyond ridiculous. I tried many times to call customer service and always got same recording someone would call back within 24 hours tried leaving message 5btimes no call back. Trying to find answers using AI is worse than anything. Horrible service

Decided to cancel renewal after a few days. product is very basic. Company stopped monitoring as soon as I cancelled. Even though I had several weeks left. look elsewhere. There are much better products out there.

For the second time in 2 months I have had to contact cloaked to stop billing me and to refund the monthly $9.99 AGAIN as they did in May. I actually stopped service April 1st, but never new it would go this far. While all the removing of this and that seemed OK, I really think its a bit more than I want to pay for this service! I am done with this company and have had to order a stop payment through my bank to prove it. Never again.

The initial ad I saw for Cloaked presented the app as an information removal service from data-broker websites. Once signed up, I was instructed to enter my information to remove possible profiles from these sites around the web. After checking my first scan, they removed the name and information of a completely different person. I contacted customer support, and was given information to add to my profile that would refine my search. I was as specific as possible about my personal information, addresses, and any aliases I may have as well as former phone numbers. As their scans are run monthly (part of the subscription cost pays for each scan), I waited another month for the second scan. Again, no profiles that match my name or address were removed. People with similar names had their information removed, but not my name. When I inquired with customer support again, I was given the same copy and paste message I received the first time. I persisted, and the next agent gave me the number of files they had removed so far. That information was already available to me, and they still hadn't addressed the problem. All in all, I spent three months on Cloaked and a grand total of 1 record with my actual name was removed. I received a very proud email that they had it removed. Cloaked offers other services like VPN, call monitoring, and burner phone numbers—it seems like an app for people who want to get off the grid but can't separate themselves from their smartphone. 2 Stars because cancelation was easy.

Cloaked needs to get better at updating apps and services. When my app was updated, I was automatically logged out and it was very difficult to get back in.

Did a free scan and the results showed exposures that I could bot see the source of until I paid for a subscription. Once I paid and created an account, there were no exposures listed and I could not scan again until rebilled a month later. What happened to results of the initial scan?? Feels like the results were fixed to get me to pay. They got my money.

I got the membership but the app conflicted with several of my other apps. I decided to cancel. That was the problem. I called and was told it was taken care of and I would get a refund. Over the next week I kept getting emails asking if I am sure I want to cancel. I keep replying yes. Called again and am told it is canceled and refunded. 5 minutes later, another email asking if I am sure. Horrible customer service
