Made an appointment two months ago as a new patient due to a change in our insurance. I am now required to go to CC. I got a call today that my appointment has been canceled. The next available appointment is over 3 months away! I will be out of prescription medication way before that time. Customer service rep told the office this and they said they would put me on a waiting list for cancelations. I’m so sure that will happen (sarcasm). Can my husband sue if I die? (Sarcasm.) can’t go back to my previous doctor because my insurance does not cover them.

These jokers don’t deserve one star I was booked in for a treatment at the Cleveland with Dr Nunoo Mensah that included 1. General anesthetic. 2. Colonoscopy 3. Corrective surgery On the day of the operation I was asked by a relative how the bowel prep was going. I told them the nursing team had told me this wasn’t needed and neither had the medical secretary. I called up to check and guess what they missed it. In fact I did need bowel prep. What is the consequence- missed time off work - seriously traumatized after getting myself ready for this and lost complete confidence in the surgeon and the Cleveland clinic. They can’t explain why or how such a school boy error can take place but they did say sorry which sadly doesn’t help me and the considerable pain I am in. I will be reviewing my options Against the Cleveland Clinic and note they already have a pathetically Low score on trustpilot

Greetings, Attempted to get very simple questions answered via the portal with Zarmeneh Aly, MD. These were basic yes or no questions and her admin staff noted we must see her for an appointment. This is a huge waste of time and shows a non patient Centric attitude. The questions are either ignored or not addressed. We call it obfuscation! Are they blocking provider access to respond to these questions? My neurologist believes they are playing politics which is less than professional. Would "you" travel a thousand miles plus and hotel for four simple questions? Respectfully Steven Yates MBA Healthcare Administration University of Texas. Ps...I'm from a Senior Leadership role as a Compliance and risk auditor so can "smell excellence and also mediocrity with one sniff". Not a novice!

Cleveland clinic Deceptive billing practices. I'm being billed a year after, I had an office visit. After paying my account total off. And having a zero balance. 4 months later they say I owe them from a year ago. You can't never get a hold of them by phone. This was payed by my insurance company in August of 2023. And there just billing me in 3/16/2024 ??

I have moved all my care to MetroHealth because I feel treated more like a person and less like a number to them. I haven't seen a Cleveland Clinic doctor for over a year. But all of the sudden I started getting statements from Cleveland Clinic demanding $35. It turns out they have started reprocessing claims from 2021 that I've already paid copays on and were long closed and settled. The Clinic claims there were "errors" that caused the need to reprocessed, but can not explain how my previously paid co-pays do not apply to the reprocessed claims. They are essentially double dipping on co-pays and insurance claims. This hospital system is amongst the least ethical in the world when it comes to billing. You would think being sued would have cleaned this up, but they have returned to their nearly criminal behavior and shady billing practices.

I requested the HPV vaccine for my 12 yr old daughter during a wellness check. A Muslim doctor, who had complained to me about having to go to medical school a second time in the US after attending in India, refused to give my daughter the vaccine. He started talking about my daughter wanting sex all the time because she had received this shot. He was an absolute idiot and there’s no way this hospital did not know this. Never again will I go back. They save the good doctors for celebrities.

Late one night I drove myself to the ER. I was admitted for surgery the following day. I was alone and wanted to speak/meet my surgeon prior to the surgery. I had zero interaction with my surgeon or anthologist until arriving at the Operating Room door. I was so frightened and upset (in fact crying) just prior to my surgery. I don't have any answer for why I elected to proceed with the surgery, in retrospect I should have changed medical facilities at that time, but hindsight is 20/20. The next morning my dr sent her PA's to debrief me about my surgery. I had questions and wanted to speak with the person who actually had eyes on my situation. If I remember things correctly I believe she told me she would debrief me after surgery. It took four requests and 20 HOURS for her to come to my room and speak with me about my care. I was discharged the next day with minimal pain medication and ended up back in the ER for pain control. I wanted to change doctors and was NOT able to! I was forced to have further procedures from a doctor that I wanted to dismiss. I had zero rights. NEVER AGAIN FOR ME!

There are 2 sides to the Cleveland Clinic. If you have a condition and need a specialist or a surgeon, they have some of the best. If you go to this ER and get admitted be prepared for the total opposite. Their in-patient medical team are some of the most incompetent individuals I ever met. My father has been admitted many times here and Everytime he comes out worse then he went in getting c.diff or staph infection as a going away prize. The grew too fast and they will hire just about anyone with a pulse. If they want to be considered best in the world level they need to act like it as of now they are not even the best in Cleveland.
