Zero starts for this company
Zero stars for this company. I purchased a 2.3 carat diamond ring less than a year ago. Within that time, two diamonds fell out and the band even bent while on my wife's finger. The quality of the ring is extremely poor. To make matters worse, I had to pay a $50 deposit in order to send the ring back for a warranty review. After waiting a week for a response, I was informed that the warranty could not be applied due to the claim that the ring was under high pressure, causing the diamonds to fall out. However, the ring was simply on my wife's finger as it should be. The use of subpar materials in the construction of the ring is undoubtedly the cause of its malfunction. When my wife called customer service, they advised her not to wear the ring everyday, which is completely nonsensical. Why would one purchase a diamond wedding ring if it can't be worn regularly? It seems like another tactic for the company to avoid honoring their warranty. I strongly urge potential buyers to be cautious and stay away from this company. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and seeking a third-party inspection of the ring. Furthermore, I will be consulting with an attorney regarding this matter. It took me months to research and find what I believed to be the right company to create my wife's perfect wedding ring, but unfortunately, I was mistaken. Now, I have to pay another company to build a new ring.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We truly regret that you are disappointed. Mr. Biggs, we stand behind the quality of our products ~ we offer a Lifetime Warranty ( https://www.cleanorigin.com/customer-service/warranty/) for damage related to manufacturing defects, however, the damage to your ring was not the result of workmanship. The type of damage to your ring is consistent with the ring being exposed to some sort of pressure, or force. 14K gold is a strong metal, and in order for the ring to become bent/misshapen to that degree, some type of trauma occurred. Mr. Biggs, never taking a ring off puts the ring at risk for damage. Rings should not be worn when cleaning, showering, exercising etc., as cleaning products, soaps and lotions will cause the metal to wear. Additionally, if the ring is being worn to sleep, the ring will suffer damage. While sleeping with jewelry seems to be a benign activity, it truly isn't. Sleeping with a ring on, puts unnecessary pressure on the ring, which will bend prongs, cause the shank to become misshapen, and diamonds will fall out. Much of the damage that occurs to jewelry occurs if the piece is worn to bed, as a result of getting caught on bedding etc. Our team did not indicate that your ring can not, or should not be worn everyday, rather we suggested when it should not be worn in order to prevent damage. Mr. Biggs, our relationships with our customers are extremely important to us, and we never want a customer to be disappointed. Had it been determined that the damage to the ring was the result of workmanship, the cost of the repairs would have been covered. Unfortunately, the inspection revealed that the ring was caught/hit/pulled on something, and force to the metal caused the damage. We understand your decision to not repair your ring, however, repairing the ring was an option made available to you. The estimate provided was extremely fair for the services required. Mr. Biggs, again, we are sorry that you are disappointed.
