I feel that I was MISLED by Cleanomic. Their advertising led me to believe that, if I purchased the bundle of multiple sizes of ziplock bags and garbage bags, I would be able to get free kitchen garbage bags for life. I have run out of kitchen trash bags and have most of the other bags still unused. I called to order the “free” trash bags and was told that, to receive the “free” bags, I would have to order the whole huge order of all the bags that I don’t need.

Scam....I signed up for ONE monthly subscription (sandwich/snack/quart/trash bags) and was charged for 2 subscription!!!! I contacted company immediately to cancel so I would not be responsible for all the hassle of returning! They were not helpful and with a lot of back and fourth until my transaction went through they said I would have to return what I did not want! They also offered a discount once I received hundreds of bags...if I kept them(such a scam)!!!! Mind you they have an expiration date....no way possible I would ever need that many bags for a family of three.

I gave a 1-star review on the site, and they stripped out my comment. I don't know if these bags are actually compostable, as I suspect they end up incinerated. The problem is that they are NOT transparent, resulting in an inordinate amount of food waste. Have 7 or 8 green baggies with food in your fridge, you'll never remember what is where. The company failed to respond to my complaint. Finally cancelled refills after much hassle and the cost or returning an order to them. Not the best company to deal with.

Their compostable trash bags are terrible. They aren't strong enough to hold food waste as they must begin composting immediately. I took one of their trash bags out of my kitchen trash can to carry to the garage and all the food was falling out of the bottom all over my house. And another one tore down the side seam when I was trying to slip it over the lip of the trash can. They are terribly weak; not sturdy at all. I want to get my money back but am sure that they won't help me out. Their products may compost wonderfully, but they don't hold up in "real-world" situations!!!

I loved the idea of biodegradable bags. Although the garbage size are poorly made I might have ordered more of the other sizes. A month after receiving my order I received another enormous order which cost $100, and this order I did not place! The company told me to return the product which cost me $30. Not only were they unwilling to pay my return costs, they charged me $10 for a processing fee. I’ve written 3 times to ask when I’m going to get my refund. They’ve responded by saying, 3-5 days, already been sent and ‘probably held up with the bank,’ needles to say a month later I have not received my reimbursement. Their greedy mistake has now cost me $140. Appalling business ethics!

Wish I could give a negative score of -5. This company's deceptive practices come with 'sweet apologies' that are empty of any customer satisfaction.

I made a purchase, then signed up for Cleanomic's "free trash bags for life" offer. A month later, I got an email saying that they're mailing me my subscription of trash bags for $99. I emailed back that I had never subscribed. Didn't get a reply until days later, which said that I can't refuse the package, that I can mail it back to get a refund. But the package is quite heavy, which means it'll cost me plenty in postage. I will NEVER EVER buy anything from Cleanomic and will do EVERYTHING in my power to warn others by writing reviews on Trust Pilot, Amazon, and Better Business Bureau. Shame on you, Cleanomic, for your fraudulent scam.

We bought a lot of Cleanomic products ... love the laundry sheets. Somehow we also have a roll of compostable bags. We just started composting and, after using the bags sent by the city which worked well, we started using the Cleanomic bags ...... they shredded and in some cases shredded even before we opened them to put inside out compost bucket. What a disaster. Did you not test these bags????? We still have a big roll of them. Maybe even 2 rolls. What do we do with them ..... of yes, we can put the rolls in the compost !
