I have multiple email accounts that have been with me for over 10 years. With my preference for saving email conversations, it's easy to see just how many emails I've gathered. Although I’m an early adopter of Clean Email (CE), I only recently began seriously exploring and using it to effectively tackle my digital clutter. With its help, I reduced my total inbox count from 10,000+ to under 10. With its numerous features, CE can appear daunting to those using it for the first time. However, that’s where most of its strength lies. It’s that flexible. You have to properly explore it and trial said features before deciding which will help with whichever email task. You also need to check the app now and then to adjust cleaning settings and monitor the automation. Some newsletters, for instance, might change their parameters and mess up a rule you set in CE. There’s a learning curve and planning involved, but it’s worth it in the long run. The result is a beautifully clean inbox whose count badge reads a number less than 10 instead of ‘500+’. Out of all features, my recommended ones are Auto Clean and Screener. They’ve been lifesavers to keeping my inboxes clutter-free.

My favourite part is I don't have to see all the crap anymore, and I finally can see emails I WANT to see without having to sift through a slog of useless stuff

I've got pretty annoying ADHD with a side of OCD, BUT I also run my life and 2 business out of one email inbox... enter clean email... I've had it for all of 3 hours, and I'm obsessed.

This is a handy tool for decluttering overwhelming numbers of emails and significantly reducing the headache of filtering, deleting, archiving, etc. I highly recommend giving this a shot to take the heavy lifting out of cleaning up your email. I was able to reduce my emails from many thousands to just a few in just one or two sit-downs with it.

I'm feeling generous with his review because it feels very good to have so many old emails cleaned out of my ancient gmail account!
