I bought a pair of Deane shoes and used the website's sizing guide. I received them and they were way too large. Typically I am a US 7.5 or an EU 38/38.5. According to your size guide, 7.5 is equivalent to 40 which is atypical but I trusted that the guide would be accurate and based my sizing on the US size rather than EU. I exchanged the shoes immediately and received a smaller size that are still too large. I wrote to customer service and they were great about re-exchanging the shoes and taking the feedback that their size guide was a bit confusing. I absolutely adore the choose, customer service was wonderful and I would absolutely buy again knowing that their sizing runs large.

Since CLAE Footwear has been around, I've bought a few shoes here and there. I am very happy with their latest collection. The simple and clean look, the use of high-quality and long lasting materials and the really comfortable and soft soles always delight me. I hope it stays that way and that there is a new CLAE Gibson edition.
