Not trustworthy
The actual transport was fine. But the quoted price and the actual price were radically different and the pickup date was a week after the originally quoted window. These folks are not trustworthy.

Everything worked out good with our…
Everything worked out good with our shipping transaction, however the fee that CitizShipper charges for service is unknown until you go to book. I had a shipper ready to book that cost $269 for the CitizenShipper fee, and when I found a better deal the fee went up to $309. A little more transparency and this would be a better rating.

High fees. You negotiate the contract but then there’s their huge fee on top

We look at the miles and not the bid placed by the drivers, in this senarion - for dog shipments, the service fee is calculated based on the total amount of miles for the trip. I appreciate the site but the match fee…
I appreciate the site but the match fee is absolutely ridiculous. It should be one flat rate. I paid almost 20% off the cost to ship my pup just to use this site.

I wasn't aware of the extra $150 charge…
I wasn't aware of the extra $150 charge for Citizen Shipper to charge me for using their service to find a transporter until I had already decided who to use for the shipment and then they popped in with the extra charge before they would give the info for the shipment. I was very pleased with the actual shipper but hadn't budgeted for the extra $150 charge by Citizen Shipper just for using their service.

Poor communication
I was having trouble communicating with citizenshipper and I couldn’t communicate with a live person. I sent an email and yet have not heard anything. The situation has since been addressed. But the fact that you are not easily accessible to me is a big problem. I paid for having a middle person who did nothing when I needed help.

I should have checked the fine print…
I should have checked the fine print but couldn't find it. After I had booked the trip Citizen Shipper sent the invoice for allowing me to use their website to connect with a shipper. The cost of $169 I feel is unreasonable. I understand there is a cost in doing business but I think this was overcharge.
