This was my first time looking for a way to safely having my pet tranported. I was able to review transporters prior to inviting a bid. I requested approximately 5 drivers to bid on my request of pickup in Las Vegas, Nevada and delivery to Burlington, Washington. Out of the 5 drivers I received a bid from 3 drivers. I also received a cancellation from 1 driver. I believe the driver was too far away. I received a message from 1 driver saying she was close to my area, I was very pleased and contracted that driver. The 3rd driver sent their bid after I contracted my transporter. The site was easy to use. I liked the pictures of the drivers. I received texts from the site to see messages about my request and was able to reply and get back to the sites from the start to the finish of my request. I appreciate Citizen Shipper, if you weren't there for safe transport of my pet, I'm not sure if my pet would have of gotten to his new place to be. Thank you, Alicia Stroman

I filled out a short form on the website and within 30 minutes I had 8-10 people contact me about transporting our pets. I was able to message back-and-forth with several of them right away, asked questions about our specific needs, and that allowed us to select a nice couple (DanRhon) who took very good care or our "kids" on a cross-country move.

Never used a service like this before but I would definitely use it again if the need arose!

This was my first experience needing to arrange to have something shipped long distance. In my case, from Texas to California. I came across CitizenShipper and was intrigued and the moment I went to their site I was immediately confident that they could help. The site is intuitive and easy to navigate. No ambiguity, no fine print, no unnecessary complications. Extremely user friendly. A page opens with a simple form. What do you need to be transported- where is it currently- where do you want it to go- when do you need it to arrive- That’s pretty much the entire process. I submitted my request and within three minutes I had 10+ people reach out to me, with bids for the project. All well qualified and experienced. They have people specializing in every category of transport. There’s a menu on the main page that takes you to the appropriate page, to find people that specialize in transporting your particular thing. In my case, I needed a beloved pet brought to me- from Texas to California and so my request was forwarded to the various Pet Transport People. I was able to chat with all the responders in Real Time, right there on the website, all on one page, no bouncing around. I was able to ask questions, receive answers, and from that same “chat page” look up their individual Bio pages to get reviews and information on their qualifications and experience. It was very well thought out and implemented. Refreshingly easy. From that same page, after choosing a driver, I clicked on their bid to accept it, and was then automatically transferred to the page where I was able to finalize the deal, and pay a very reasonable fee to the site for essentially serving as the “Agency”, maintaining the well designed and easy to use site, vetting the available drivers, and ultimately facilitating safe peer to peer connections between the drivers and their customers. The entire process was fluid and flawless, and in my case, researched, planned and confirmed in less than 30 minutes. The final product, bringing my beloved pet to me, was equally flawless. I was so pleased with the entire process from beginning to end that I related my experience to several of my friends. “Hey, I found the coolest thing...” I will absolutely use CitizenShipper for all of my future shipping needs. Richard was excellent, you could tell that the dogs really enjoyed traveling with him and were well cared for. He shared pictures and updates through the trip and was a pleasure to work with. We will definitely work with him again.
