I love the service and experience with driver went very well. My package got where I needed it to and in perfect condition. My only surprise (maybe my fault?) was when I accepted the bid I didn't realize I would have another 50.00 fee added from CS. Still it was 20% less than using Fed Ex or UPS so not a huge deal. Overall I would recommend this service and I am glad I found it.

This was my first experience with CitizenShipper. All went well and I would use CitizenShipper again. I was surprised by the high fees. If they were explained and itemized prior to accepting the bid, I missed it. I was uncomfortable that the job was not prepaid. The mover could be faced with bargaining upon delivery. That's not necessarily bad, but it changes the tone of the transaction.

I call it "Uber for Dogs" (in my case). I loved the process and the profiles of those giving the bids. As well as the ratings from previous customers. The experience will vary with the individual, as one would expect. I liked the platform and would have given it 5 stars except for not knowing in advance that there WILL be a tax & fees charge, or what it will be. --- The only reason I knew there was going to be one, was through another persons posting. The providers know there will be a fee, but they don't know how much. I would like CitizenShipper to be transparent about the fees and taxes during the bidding process. This may be posted somewhere on the site, but I would have liked to know the screening process to accept drivers and if there are issues, how to get them addressed. I had an excellent driver (RTTR) and had no issues at all. He was a great communicator, sent regular updates, pictures and Glympse location.

Citizen Shipper was great. Sometimes it was hard to tell if I had a bid if it didn't show up at the top. But overall, it was a good experience. It would have been helpful if there were some instructions on fees and how things work and payment to the shipper.

The quote were reasonable but I think that you should also let everyone know about the additional fees that will be included. 50 plus on additional fees is significant when trying to plan

Fred did a great job staying in touch and keeping to the schedule we agreed upon to ship my cats from Texas to Florida. I would recommend him to anyone who needs assurance that their precious cargo is in good hands.

I love how easy it was to connect and find someone willing to do a random task. It felt safer and more reliable than craigslist. Once the userbase grows, this could really take off.
