CitizenShipperReviews of citizenshipper.com

Citizen Shipper is a very nice service to match people needing transport to those who provide the transportation service. It’s nice that the transporters have background checks and you can see their stats for transports provided, how many times they cancelled, and reviews. The only reason I give 4/5 instead of 5/5 is because the matching fee they charge is a little outrageous sometimes and can be a factor of whether I can even use a services or not. I have pets go as far as both coasts. Citizen Shipper takes a % out, which is manageable for a lower costing transport (and fair for them for simply doing the match imo) but when the transport is across the US, the matching fee adds on a pretty expensive amount to an already expensive amount (because it’s so far). My opinion is they should be charging one fee for matching. Not charging people more while they are already paying quite a bit... this has unfortunately caused me a couple times to not be able to use this service. All in all happy with my experiences and will continue to use when I can!

I had been having much difficulty finding a mover to transport my furniture across the country from the east coast to the mountains in the west. After an unsuccessful week of exhaustive searching, I took the advice of the individual from whom I had purchased the furniture and posted my listing on Citizenshipper. Within a few minutes, I already had a reasonable bid for the transport, and the process from there on out was seamless! It was exceptionally helpful that I could read all of the reviews of my mover from previous customers, which made me feel much more confident in the booking. The only criticism I have of the website is that it is not immediately apparent that a 20% booking fee is added to the cost of the bid that is accepted. This is different from UShip, which incorporates the 20% booking fee into the total bid. Other than that, I am thankful to Citizenshipper for connecting me with an outstanding mover!

I found an amazing driver to transport my dog halfway across the US via CitizenShipper. I found the pricing to be fair, however I couldn't find anywhere on the site that it mentioned their service fee and was surprised by that at checkout. I needed to change my email on my account and their customer support was amazing! I would use them again.

I found the site by searching for a pet transporter company. Once I filled in the information for my needs I received offers almost immediately. I found the chat interface to work fine to contact potential shippers. The only negative I had with the experience was I feel the $79.00 fee for using the site was extremely steep for what was provided.

Z&T Instantly delivered my puppy from Michigan to South Carolina. Overall it was a good experience, and they took very good care of him the whole way! Thank you so much!

The Citizen shippers app is great I started to get messages with offers right away. I gave it 4 stars only because the $99 fee is a little high and I didnt see it anywhere clearly on the page that this was the fee for using/booking through the site.

Amanda , the transporter, was prompt, accessible and very competent. I am very satisfied of the whole experience.

I've used Citizen Shipper twice now to move household items. Overall a good resource for a good price. Check out the profiles of the bidders carefully, look at reviews. So far I've been satisfied. Seems like the helpers are often an issue.
