CitizenShipper was great for helping us find several different bids from businesses and individuals to transport our dog. My only complaint was the fee that the website takes from us for using their service. It did add a significant amount to our total costs. Still, I would use them again if I were in a similar situation. We had hit nothing but dead ends, and CitizenShipper helped us find an option that worked for us! We loved the business that we ended up choosing.

The lady did a great job transporting him. Her text and photos 👍. So why not 5 stars. Because she bid $600 to transport him. But just hours before his pick up, she sends me a contract for $40.00 a night hotel. So the cost was $600+$200 for Hotel +=129.00 for booking fee +$69.00 Tax for a Grand total of $998.00. That is a far cry form $600. She said it's on her portfolio.I believe that when you bid to do a job that should include everything. Don't low ball a bid to get the job, then add extra

This was unnerving to hire someone to ship a puppy. I would have liked a bit more info about the shippers prior to accepting bids, their feedback, etc. Overall I had a good experience, but it would be easier if you could provide more information upfront. Thank you.

While my transporter gets 5 stars, I want to emphasize that not all transporters on the site are professional. I do not know where the disconnect arises, but I had a few bad experiences with potential shippers. Trust your gut and be aware that you cannot discuss anything like contact information or other specifics besides details on your pets transport and other surface information prior to booking with them. There are truly great people on the site who want to help you get your animals transported. Just do a little digging.

I'm kind of a 1 star or 5 star reviewer, but I'm giving 4 stars because, although I received a service that ultimately satisfied my needs in a timely manner, from a site that I was unaware even existed just a few months ago, I felt that the inner workings of their site had a lot of opportunities for improvement. Having said that, and being a technologist myself, I'm expecting that they're continually working to improve the user experience.

I really liked Heather! She was very easy going and generous with her time, her space, her food even! So, the one star I deducted was more for citizenshipper to improve their criteria for shipping live animals after what I’ve experienced over air, land and sea.
