CitizenShipperReviews of citizenshipper.com

Citizenshipper is a great service. I am digging one star because I didn't realize they charge a fee to allow you to book a reservation. I'm sure it said that somewhere when I signed up but I do not remember seeing it. Make sure to factor that fee in when you are looking to book. I did have my driver cancel in my a couple of days before they were supposed to show up but Citizenshipper took care of it. That process was a little cumbersome especially when you have to hurry to find a new driver and are freaking out.

Citizenspippers works fine as a platform for linking customers to drivers. Expect about a dozen bids in the 1st day. What I didn't like about Citizenspippers is that they don't give you all the information up front. For instance, they charge you $40 for using their platform but don't mention that until you accept a bid. Also they don't tell you that some of your bids will be texts but most are as PMs that you need to sign into their site to see. And also they don't tell you that some of the respondents will be subcontractors that are looking to combine your small load with others so that you can't deal directly with the drivers but rather with a subcontractor that is looking to profit off linking loads together and that you'll have limited control over pickups and delivery dates and that your item might go into storage until a driver match is found. For these 3 shortcomings I give them 4 stars. As a platform I'd give it 5 stars. But I'd recommend that they disclose up front that you'll be charged $40 for the use of their platform at the time of bid acceptance, that you need to sign into your account on their website to see ALL your bids, and that subcontractors should be clearly labeled as such and not appear to be the actual drivers.

I used CitizenShipper to arrange to have a kitten driven from Florida to Michigan (a long drive for a little cat), and I am extremely pleased with my decision. The website was user friendly, and it was much simpler to connect with and book a transporter than I expected it to be. I hired Shae Powers with Echo Powers Transport, and he did a wonderful job both with my kitten and with communicating with me before and during the trip. My four star rating is not a five star rating only because I feel as if the booking fee charged by CitizenShipper is a bit pricey, as it was 25% of my transport fee.

The service was great...the only hiccup I would say is that the fee for CitizenShipper should be more lined out and clear and that paying the shipper is a separate transaction....Minor...outside of that...I found a really good price and an awesome individual to safely transport a motorcycle...I would definatly use this service again.

I really didn't have any issues. I had a couple.of qiluestions but I was responded to by way of email.

Process was relatively easy, just think they could do with some user-friendly updates for the web. I work with software and found navigating between messages and the rest of the places I wanted to access a bit clunky. A good UI layout/design person could make the needed changes pretty quickly and improve the experience. Overall good though!

This service is very easy to work with. Would recommend it! Wish they had a method of paying their transporter via the website not just the service fee. Also I was surprised by their service fee - I probably missed it when I first sign up but would be nice to display this on the bids page maybe.

My table and type arrived safe and sound. Eduardo was very professional and cordial. Two issues were, 1) I did not realize the shipper fee was in addition to the bid, and 2) it took a bit longer than I anticipated. Since this was the first time I used Citizenshipper, now I know how it works. I would hire Eduardo again anytime. Thanks!
