i was very happy to find Citizen Shipper for transporting a boat. There was a substantial savings compared to commercial transporters. My only negative comment is the fee is based on distance and i had to pay the maximum fee of $750 due to the length of travel. Maybe the scale needs a little adjustment or some type of flat fee schedule versus a distance related fee schedule.

The overall experience was fine. The bid process was great. Our shipper (winning bidder) was great. The Citizenshipper fee schedule needs to be front and center and easy to find, instead of where it sits now...hidden, and link to a page from another page (no the main page). It feels almost like you are trying to hide your fees. Or perhaps just include an algorithm to include your fees on top of this bids, so that there is clear transparency on what a consumer should expect to pay.

Very good app. I did not understand their charge situation until the end. They were an add on to the bid. Other than that very helpful in finding what I needed.

I think the price you charge for your services just to post and receive quotes is a bit costly. I did not expect it to cost that much. The driver was excellent but I don't know if I'll use CitizenShipper again due to the cost. Thank you.

I was able to get some bids fast. I’m giving it 4/5 stars because you have to pay a separate fee from them that can be expensive

The first driver that took my job canceled on me. He couldn't get a rental car which I think should have been reserved BEFORE taking the job. As it got to be the pick up day, he finally told me and then canceled and I had to start all over again. That was very frustrating! But, it led me to Char, who took my job and gave me a very fair price and did an amazing job!

It's a good platform to find local shippers. Their support via email is decent and prompt with response. Recommend going with shippers with good reviews only as quality of shippers can vary
