booked with Little Paws Empire. Confirmed a date and time with them, then was told abruptly with no explanation they were cancelling. No previous communication was ever provided indicating an issue before cancellation of our booking. I have screen shots of the entire conversation proving they confirmed the date and pick up location was ok minutes before cancelling.

My dog died in transit and was cremated without my permission. The person transporting my dog from Paws Over Miles - Professional Transporter stopped responding to my messages, once I asked for further details. I haven’t received pictures of my dog, updates on what state they’re in, or an explanation of what happened. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use this service. I am beyond heartbroken and devastated.

Lousy company. I was ncharged $438.00 for geting a phone number of the carrier. Credit card info was sold to someone resulting in no less than 20 charges against it. You ask how do you know it was Citizen Shipper? The card was only used for them. Reached out several times to find out why such a high charge, no response.

I’m writing this review hopefully other drivers will see this. I’ve been driving for a citizenship for over five years. I having five star rating and over a 50% review factor with them of five stars with most are less than 20%. My very first problem with them, which was a very problematic client. Ghost to them tells them a story. They immediately suspend me without any proof, but yet they are asking me for proof from my side. They do not stand behind their drivers even after I sent them, the pictures showing the customer is lying. Drivers beware do not work for this company. I’ve given them many years of my life to turn around and have them do this to me. It is a sub standard company work elsewhere, trust me

I hired CitizenShipper to transport my son’s dog home from California. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, the transportation was canceled by the Humane Society in California. This was not a situation where we chose a different transporter or found a less expensive option. The cancellation was entirely outside of our control. Despite this, CitizenShipper refused to issue a refund. I am extremely disappointed with how this matter was handled. Based on my experience, I would encourage others to carefully review their options, as there are many transportation companies that may be more willing to work with customers when unforeseen circumstances arise.

BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY'S SERVICES! If I could rate them with a zero, I would. I used Citizen Shipper to get my puppy from GA to South FL. The quotes came in quickly and I chose a driver. She was great! However, while my puppy was on his way to me, I discovered that this company not only had a charge of $139.99 for making a reservation through them (which I expected), but an additional charge of $169 was on my credit card for an insurance upgrade that I didn't want or authorize. Their rule is you need to cancel this BEFORE the end of the trip, which I did. I then wrote to them, because there was no phone number, and explained what happened. I had not heard back from them in a week and a half, so I followed up with an email to customer support. They informed me that an emailed response was sent to me on 2/14 which I never received. My puppy arrived on 2/15. I told them that I had not received the email. They resent it to me today with my follow-up. It was an offer to use their service in the future with a partial credit. The email had no date in which I had to respond. Since I hadn't received the email, I told Dana at the company again that I had not received the email and that I would like a full refund. To which she replied that I had not responded to the email that I didn't receive and that there is nothing that she could do. I told her that there was no respond by date in the email and it was only a week and a half ago, and she refused to help. No matter how much I tried, she would not budge. I then called my credit card company to dispute the partial charge of $169. This company should be responsible and do the right thing in giving me a refund. Especially since I never authorized this charge. Although the driver was great, I would NEVER recommend this service to anyone. Charging someone deceitfully is not a company that I would ever recommend, or use again.

As a driver of color, this experience carried an additional emotional burden. Repeated interactions created the impression that certain drivers were treated with greater skepticism and less grace than others. Whether intentional or not, the cumulative effect was an environment that felt unequal and alienating. What is most troubling is that these concerns did not appear to be isolated incidents but part of a broader pattern within the organization. When systems fail to recognize or correct these disparities, they risk reinforcing harm rather than fostering inclusion. I wanted this platform to succeed—for myself and for the community it serves—but the lack of accountability, equity, and respectful engagement made that impossible. Until Citizenshipper takes meaningful steps to address these issues and ensure fair treatment for all drivers, I cannot recommend working with them.

Details are as follows: • Service: Pet transport from Winston Salem, NC to Portland, OR • Date of Payment: 02Jan2026 • Amount Paid: $900 • Payment Method: Venmo Description of Issue: • I paid the agreed 50% now and balance when he picked up my dog. • The driver did not perform the service, and all attempts to contact them have failed. • I have attached screenshots of the transaction and correspondence for your review. • Im uncertain of how you screen and monitors drivers. This is unacceptable and will cause me to take a week off to manage. I want to speak to a person to ensure Im refunded and driver discontinued. I request the following actions: 1. Refund of the $900 payment 2. Investigation into this driver to prevent others from being scammed. 3. Removal or suspension of the driver account if fraud is confirmed. 4.
