CitizenShipperReviews of citizenshipper.com

Their are a LOT of scammers on this site and the only saving grace of this review is 1. The on person I connected with that wasnt a scammer was so understanding helpful and amazing 2. I got a semi refund of the money I lost Do NOT trust everyone on here even if they have "good" reviews I got lucky my second go around and im still upset over the money I lost and the fact that the site provides NO COVERAGE FOR SCAMMERS or any form of reimbursement for allowing those types of people to be on it. I wish they did and I mistakingly thought that the would help or provide a refund in anyway otherwise I would have not used this site if I had any other options.

This company does the bare minimum and lets scammers in. They even admitted to me they know their system is flawed and they don’t communicate guidelines well. They also assure you all transporters are safe and that a transporter with no reviews or stars has to start off somewhere, but rest assured they check them out. They do not do this. They only see if the license is valid. They do not do a background check on these “new” people. The person that stole from me had a criminal record with tons of arrests and a warrant. I started to notice a change in language patterns and then started to research the person because I asked for a picture of their license. It’s my fault for sending the money via zelle and I will make sure Zelle as well as CitizenShipper changes their policies because both take no responsibility for letting scammers do what they do. The bare minimum CitizenShipper should have done was a background check. You can’t even DoorDash without one and proof of car insurance. They do not do this. They let anyone in with a valid license. Think about it. Think about giving someone your home address without a background check and the possibility of getting murdered or hurt? The spot I put the breeder in! What if they had met up and hurt them, stole the dog and then flipped it? Citizenshipper put TWO families at risk because they don’t require all transporters to have a background check. That’s vile and criminal to find out AFTER you’ve been stolen from. I had to contact the FBI, FTC, State Attorney in Tx and my state. I will stop them. If anyone has had the same experience, please do the same and make sure they are held responsible because another transporter told me they get contacted OFTEN every week with people like me who got scammed from Citizenshipper. They need to be held liable.

The booking fee is ridiculous. Then you guys turned around after my driver saved me some money and threatened to lock her out of her account if she didnt pay the money “you guys lost”. I dont think its fair we have to pay so much money based on location when citizenshipper doesnt even deliver the item. You guys were trying to charge me over $200 just to BOOK through your site. Never booking through citizenshipper again. Worst fees ive seen to date.

I had not a single issue I did have multiple bids placed, and even though drivers don’t have a bunch of reviews I was a bit leery, but the driver I chose I couldn’t have been more happier with I had on the spot transportation and Georgia was amazing. He didn’t have a bunch of reviews he had maybe three but let me tell you his presence And super friendliness and not being pushy was what made me book him and I got my boy cash and this gentleman was nothing but the upmost respectful he kept my dog safe and he got him to me safely so just because someone has a five star review or no reviews do the research and you don’t have to always go with the person who had a bunch of reviews reviews my dog wasn’t in a crowded van he has JaJa one on one attention it was nice

Read the fine print before you sign up with his company. So I found a driver who was nothing short of an angel, I was scammed out of $400 by the first one. When I went to the Citizen shipper website, there were three other people who had been scammed as well, and none of us had been notified.

Hairy Miles, Matthew Lamm never showed up causing life issues with 3 puppies, but took our $400.00 Service disgusting

I have sent and tried multiple times to cancel the request I sent on Dec 26th and receive a refund. I’ve had so many issues with this service and am extremely disappointed First, the driver Leroy Harris that was hired by State 2 State, contacted me several times over 3 days with many car issues, lost phone and I after I sent him $500 deposit, I finally cancelled and he to this day has not refunded my money and not responded to me. Secondly, I’ve tried to cancel the request from Dec 26th several times and have my money refunded as I had to fly and drive my pet 2600 miles myself but still have had no response! The site continues to give me an error so I contacted customer service multiple times and still no response. I’d steer clear of this company…

I got a credit for shipping. Due to my getting covid. The credit was 190… from nj to nm. (1000)$ 2000 miles. I used the service for another dog from ohio to nj. 500 miles. 200$ charge fir shipper. According to rates the fee should have been 63.99. Success rate. I was charged 190. So i no longer have any credit.
