I had a no show shipper for pickup, with no notice and no reply to multiple text messages. The shipper was "verified" and "backgroud checked" according to CitizenShipper. The shipper claims to be a LLC yet they are not listed in the Florida database for businesses. The shipped has not refunded my 50% deposit and has stopped text replies. I was scammed and will be filing fraud claims against the shipper.

I went on Citizenshipper to get a quote, entertaining transporting my dog rather than doing the drive myself. First off the quotes were INSANE. i could have shipped a 6 ton backhoe for cheaper than they wanted to transport the dog. But that was fine, idiotic quotes...ok not the service for me. so i deleted the ad within about 15 minutes, and deleted my account. ever since, i get 2-5 emails/texts/voicemails DAILY trying to solicit service from them. i've unsubscribed over and over but they utilize different email address... i've added them to spam, i've contacted them (to which they claim i'm removed).....their prices are as ridiculous as their spam/solicitation afterwards (this is still occurring as of 4/5, 2 weeks later)

This platform has zero quality control. We booked with a transport person on January 11th. They asked for half up front as a deposit. They never picked up our vehicle and continued to lie about our position on their schedule. They eventually ghosted us and we asked customer service to get involved. Then they all the sudden they are trapped in Alaska, when last we heard they we in California and on our way to us. Customer service never helped. We still have not received our deposit back. We eventually had to book with another party after five weeks continuous delay and it was a nightmare. We lost wages due to not having a vehicle. We had to pay for FOUR weeks rental and eventually couldn’t even afford that. It took our very last Pennies to rebook and Citizen Shipper wanted to charge yet another booking fee?! Fortunately they were returned via supervisor and overall it was an awful experience. We were scammed out of $350 on your platform and they don’t seem to care or take it serious. They have told me for four weeks now they would return the money. We were more than fair and flexible but they flat out were deceptive and I don’t think they ever intended on delivering our car and they would never cancel it despite me asking several time to cancel if they couldn’t make good on our booking. Lie after lie after lie. Those people are probably scamming more people but I guess that’s ok as long as Citizen Shipper gets it’s booking fee because CS has done NOTHING to truly help. The booking guarantee is fictitious and when it comes down to it, they just won’t help you. I will never use them again. Ever.

This platform only connects you with a transporter while taking an abnominal fee from the transporter and from the customer….while this site has no guarantees or recourse that your shipment will be picked up. For the fee that they charge I would expect that there’s some money back guarantees if the transporter disappears after taking your deposit. This site has to do a better job

Company does a pathetic vetting process when it comes to contracting drivers. I had a driver accept a job, ask for a $2k down payment, and never does the shipment. I was to have my boat taken across the country. Never happened. Contractor David Goings stopped responding to me. Citizen Shipper assured me via email that they were in contact with him and that he said he is going to pay me. After hearing this song and dance for a few months, they told me I should seek bring him to court. What a joke. I would hope that they have shut him down so he doesn’t steal anyone else’s money but they didn’t do a good job of convincing me that the driver would be suspended indefinitely from the platform, but that did not happen either. Best advice I can give you is to look elsewhere for your shipping needs. They cannot be trusted to have your back.

The company's phone number sent me to a medical company. I tried calling to dispute a charge that went through, but never received the services from the individual that was hired.

My driver cancelled and they still haven't given me a refund.

The Shipper was excellent, but we should have been made aware of the $150 fee for CitizenShipper from the start, since it’s based on mileage, prior to the time of booking.
