chicagoknifeworks.com didn't ship or refund took my order and month later - no order, no refund. Asking them is useless

I ordered 3 knives from “The Works” on September 7th. 14 business days and 18 days later, I still had no knives from them in my possession. I called twice and was told an update and tracking number would be sent via email. No messages have been seen from these guys. They could not tell me anything about my shipment so I cancelled the order. I emailed sales to cancel but days later still do not have any confirmation of cancellation nor has my funds been returned. This is the absolute worst company I have ever attempted to deal with. Please stay away from these insects it’s not worth the 10-15% savings. With any luck, hopefully they’ll go out of business and spare future would be customers a ton of misery.

Ordered a knife to gift, but cancelled the order the next day and requested a refund to the card. They acknowledged it and said 4-5 business days. It is now going on 2 months and nothing, even after contacting them 3 other times, and being assured they would rectify it. This company is either dishonest or incompetent, maybe both.

Scam!!! They are actively in "EXIT SCAM" mode!!! Almost 2 months and they don't answer phone and do not ever respond

I placed an order over a month ago and have emailed them multiple times, but they never respond with anything but a canned email response. I'm beginning to think that I was ripped off. I wil never ever order from this place again. Saving a few dollars is not worth going through this process.

This company has great pricing. But the shipping is slower than a turtle going backwards after five emails and five weeks later my knife finally ships I would recommend buying from somebody else even if you have to pay a few bucks more unless you don’t mind the long wait

Good prices! worst customer service and slowest possible shipping! My last order took 2 weeks just to get a confirmation email and its been 6 weeks and counting and I haven't received a tracking # yet! There is no real way to contact them they just shoo you away!

I saw their product on a youtube video. I looked into it and saw that I could have a knife in 5-7 days. I payed $70 for a knife. They told me it was on back order. I'm not unreasonable, I don't mind waiting a bit, but one month later they still couldn't tell me when they would send it out. I wrote to them, demanding a refund and informing them that I would put out a bad review. They gave me a shipping announcement and a tracking number. Apparently it's been shipping for two weeks but I can't see the progress and I still don't have it. This is a garbage company and I would never recommend anyone spend money with them.
