This company should shut down. Numerous of scamming tactics is observed. Compromising upgrades and other flight add-ons you did not purchased. Customer service called is reading a script and not letting you speak to literally overcome and deceive you from the original flight purchase you have inquired. I would give this company a zero if possible. Booked round trip flight on Sept 22 for flight leaving on 29 Sep and returning the next day. Received a call immediately asking if I wanted to pay for the cost of a carry on. Thought it was confirmation of flight. Then on September 26 received a call from CheapVuelos that they could not honor my initial agreement with them and were changing my flight to some date in mid October. I argued with them and insisted to no avail that they refund my money so I could book with another more reputable company. They refused. I called Alaska Air lines and was told that what CheapVeuelos was doing was a “bate and switch” operation. Offering anything to get you on the hook, then offering something of a much greater value at a much greater price. That in my book is not ethical. In order not to deal with their unsavory practice, I had to cancel my credit card just so that they would not be paid.I ordered my flight from Expedia at a reasonable price. To protect the public, I hope this scam organization will soon be shut down!

First. it was too difficult to understand their accent. after I booked a flight they call me and told me about that I was not allow to take any luggage at all, just my purse. few hours later they confirmed my booking and told me I was going to be on stand by. Or they could send me to another airport and the price will be a lot more, like $400.00 dlls. more. there were 8 people ahead of me on stand by.. I asked them to cancel and they told me they couldn,t anymore, because was my responsibility not to read the small letters. I managed to cancel, but like a week later, I had some unauthorized charges on my debit card, done in NY and Connecticut. I live in Texas. Coincidence? I hope nobody goes thru this nightmare with these scammers

I had a terrible experience with Cheapvuelos, and I’m sharing this to warn others not to fall into this trap and lose money. I searched deals for flight to USA on cheapflights.com, which redirected me to the Cheapvuelos site. Comparatively this site offered 40% discount on a return trip. I booked the ticket through them and got a confirmation email saying 'Booking Successful' with the same flight details that I booked for. But after waiting for 7 hours, I didnt receive the ticket and when I called they said this is a Promotional fare and it is Standby. To get a confirmed ticket I have to pay extra amount which comes to more than what is on the Airlines website. When I refused to pay, they said I need to travel another day but still I need to pay some extra. I asked them to cancel it, then they said I will lose the money and the agent started taking rudely. Long story short, I wasted my whole day dealing with this issue, very stressful and lost the money and ended up booking with the carrier directly. This site is so misleading, no transparency. It is just there to steal your money. DONT FALL INTO THIS TRAP!!

Please be aware - IF you purchase their cheapest ticket, it does not allow for a carry-on (you cannot even add it later at the airport) - limit is 3 lbs on your person (never have heard of this). You will not have a confirmed ticket. They will instruct you to go to the airport 4-6 hours early and let them know you are there, and the airline will take it from there(I am assuming you are on standby - but I could be wrong, they won't fully explain this). IF you want a confirmed ticket that has a carry-on option, they will charge you the price of the ticket (that you can find yourself) plus at least $150 fee for taking over 2 hours of your day to make the plane ticket you could have made yourself in 10 minutes or less. If you tell them you found it cheaper, they will persistently tell you that you are looking at an expired webpage and that if you continue with that purchase, your ticket will be cancelled within the next day or two, as the airline webpage has expired. They continually told me to close the page and try again, as if they wanted the ticket at that price to disappear, and claim they still had the cheapest, as he kept telling me he could see all the inventory on his end. (I have never in all my life of traveling had this happen to me or anyone I know who travels for work multiple times a week) They will not ever give you straight numbers. I had to keep asking what the TOTAL cost and they would always give it in broken amounts to throw you, or so it seemed. They then offered me to fly out of different airports - some even 6 hours away from where we needed to land and offer flights with stops even when you want non-stop in an attemp to to get you to purchase the ticket - and no matter the DISCOUNT they offer you, they will always charge you at least $150 to do all of this for you. They will then tell you that you agreeed to all of this in the ToS and it NO WHERE actually tells you this - (my fault for not reading the pages of ToS that no one ever does - I will own this part and just want others to know) and that you can't get a chargeback as they have it written in that ToS that you cannot get a refund for any reason. They are very subversive about their practices. Please save your money, as once you make a purchase, ZERO of it is refundable. It is a bait and switch for the cheapest flight. Once I ended up with the ticket as I had already lost out on the cheaper flight -.- they transferred me to someone that told me I needed to do this review while on the phone with them and they needed to make sure I did that - Odd considering my experience and who tries to "hold you hostage" to force a review - I hung up as I had already been dealing wth this for over 2 hours. MAYBE my experience is unique, but it was very much worth mentioning to be aware of!

What was advertised and what I was billed for were not the same. When I contacted them to resolve the issue, there was no clear explanation or accountability. Instead of addressing the misleading details, they made the process stressful and unhelpful. Travelers should be able to trust a booking platform to provide accurate pricing and honest details. Unfortunately, this agency failed to deliver transparency, and it cost me both money and peace of mind. I cannot recommend them and urge others to double-check carefully before booking.
