La verdad me sentí completamente estafada, compré mi vuelo que me costó 800 dólares y nunca me enviaron mi E-ticket, luego llamé y me dijeron que no estaba confirmado porque el avión estaba full y ya no había espacio, que si quería viajar lo más pronto debería de pagar 1000 dólares!!!, ahora me cambiaron el vuelo para el otro mes! Y ya no lo necesito para el otro mes!!, e incluso aún no me envíen ningún E-ticket!!! NO CONFÍEN EN ESTA PÁGINA!!!! SON SCAM! Y ESTAFADORES!

Booked a flight then found out it was a promotion with many restrictions such as no baggage allowed and we may have to move the dates by a few days each way. They called after the purchase was posted on credit card to explain these restrictions. The restrictions were NOT posted on the ticketing site.

SCAM. THEY do a bait and switch. TOTAL SCAM.

Do not buy airline tickets through this company They will tell you it's one price and then try to gouge you for more money after you booked. Their customer service is horrible, and if something goes wrong, they will NOT give you a refund. They suck incredibly big balls.

Warning: Do Not Purchase Tickets Through Cheap Flight Buddies – They Are a Scam I purchased a ticket through Cheap Flight Buddies online, and the next morning at 5:40 a.m., they called me claiming that my ticket was “standby” and that I needed to upgrade to secure a guaranteed seat. This was never stated on their website when I booked. My original fare was $368 CAD, but they said I had to pay $791 USD to make it a guaranteed flight. I reluctantly agreed to the upgrade just to confirm my ticket. Later, they called again saying that $149 USD had been declined, which was odd since I had more than enough funds on my credit card. They then demanded proof from my bank, showing details of which bank my credit card was issued from with a copy of an email or text approval from my bank, which is completely unusual and suspicious for any legitimate travel agency. They ultimately deducted $572 USD from my credit card and refused to issue a refund. In short: Avoid Cheap Flight Buddies at all costs. They may seem legitimate but they operate as scammers.

So I booked a flight through cheap buddy flights 2 to 3 days prior to the flight. The price was $234.84. They took the money immediately off my card. I didn’t receive no phone call no emails no nothing except for the confirmation, then the day of my brother-in-law gets to the airport who is in a wheelchair was told at the front counter by united that he could not board the flight because payment had not been authorized. Come to find out cheap buddy put a hold on the flight when I called them they said that the only way to get him on a flight was to pay an additional $305 and mind you it almost seems like they knew exactly what they were gonna do because they didn’t try to get a hold of me. They didn’t try to email me. They didn’t try to call me so then I’m talking to them and telling them well we agreed on the price of 234.84. Why is it additional? What am I paying additional for? they said well unfortunately we can’t even get you on the flight that was they are getting ready to leave which he was an hour ahead of schedule for that flight now they’re telling me whoa. He can’t get on that flight because check in for that flight is past due, so he needed to wait their additional two hours hour and a half to get on the next flight so then as I am confirming everything with them to make sure that it’s there and it’s through the United Airlines lady tells me oh it’s still on hold it’s still pending after they charged my card. I go to check my card to see what charges they charged me another $434 and some change also $106 and some change also $.15 and eight dollars then they’re telling me well. The 234 was just on hold that shouldn’t be seen as anything what I don’t understand is how you can book a flight. It tells you exactly how much flight is and then later you go to the airport to get on that flight and then they bend you over the Kohl’s for more money.. and because they know that you’re in a bad predicament that’s where they got you. I think that this is the worst company. I’m in the service industry as a plumber and I would never come back and tell my customer after giving them a price well it’s gonna be this price now. Total transparency should be their priority and from looking at all of the reviews online and the Better Business Bureau. I wish I would’ve done mine more research prior to booking for this company because this whole experience was awful and they don’t offer to do anything besides take money from you. They don’t care… beware of cheap buddy flights
