I would says the 1 star reviews are true.. the others indeed I would think false. ... some of the profiles have been on charmdate there for over 1 year or more and not sure how they get away with it... maybe the marketing... If you really want to find out if the person is true. try 2 things get them to provide a photo of them with a note saying hello to you with your name. If that passes then let them know you are planning a trip to their destination and would like to meet them on a break from your tour for 1/2 hour coffee or something like that in an open safe space.. good luck trying to get those 2 agreements, Some of the people have had their profiles taken down as I confronted them on them and I guess the conscience of the translator removed them maybe ?. Scam I would say.. too bad as I do not know how they continue to exist, I have heard that only about 3% of people online with sites like these actually go to try to see the person so as I understand it is not regulated. The site probably plays with those stats and gets away with deception .Would be nice to have it shut down. Inquirer beware! Just read the other 1 star reviews and decide for yourself. Would also like to thank the other 1 star reviewers for their honesty. If you just want a pen pal then go for it and watch your $$$ go tweet tweet,,,, I may yet get someone to investigate them more thoroughly.... if we get the results we can let y all know.. Bleak I dare say.... Trust justice will prevail... time wasters... If anyone can prove me otherwise it would be interesting to hear and I mean demonstrably.

after spending a few months and a lot of money on charmdate i have no doubt in my mind that its fake, you dont have to believe me just go and look yourself, first you sign up and they give you two minutes chat vouchers, but when trying to use them to chat you will find the ladies are very slow to respond in fact sometimes they wait a full minute to respond to something simple like "how are you?" another warning sign (and you can try this yourself) is when you spend some time talking to a girl and log in the next day you will see that she is trying to chat with you but the problem is that she is repeating the same routine she did yesterday she is asking the same questions or using the same pick up lines, and you are left wondering is something wrong with her?, did she not remember our conversation yesterday ? i tried this even after an hour to make sure and after a 20 minutes conversation i logged out and logged in after an hour and she tried to contact me like we have never talked before, it is my belief that all girls younger than 30 on this site are paid to keep you chatting for a long time and considering you are paying more than 10 dollars for every 5 minutes of chat then thats a lot of money. even in paid chat when you ask a simple question like "how are you?" the girl spends almost a full minute until she replies with "fine". also, the interaction is very scripted, i worked in a call center a long time ago and i feel that this is what it is , same business model, a similar approach to probing questions. i spent some months talking to this girl and then i requested her contact details and she said she doesnt have a phone number when i can see in her photos she has a phone, who buys a phone and not a . number???? but you dont have to take my word for it try it and look for the signs i just described.

Scam!!!! Normally I wouldn't waste my time writing reviews, I'm not like that....usually. But, when I read regular guys spending sometimes thousands of dollars on this site, I can't keep it in. I was talking to my girl for a little over a year (I know). But, I was the one holding up meeting with her because I am relatively poor and was just barely able to pay for the letters. When I asked her to come off the site she would brush me off (first reflag). Then she told me she was a hairstylists from st Petersburg (Kolpino) and she had her identity stolen thousands of times (red flag). She did offer to come to the US, but I know something would have happened if I took her up on the offer. I wanted to be the one to make the effort. So, after a year I saved enough to go out there. It was a big step for me as I have never been outside of the states. My family made me see a guy who researches these women and found her Instagram and VK account. On her Instagram account I discovered a boyfriend or husband as a follower. I only know because I accidentally wanted to see what type of guys she hangs with and accidentally went on his site and saw them together. Her name in the photos was Anna, not Anetta that her account said. I left that alone because it was close enough. But, I saw the engagement, wedding, honeymoon, engagement ring...the works on instagram lolol. I approached her about it and she said it was for a photographer friend of hers who wanted her to pose with his friend in a photo shoot (redflag)lolol. I then saw an award for her for being on the list of top 50 most beautiful women in Russia in 2016 (redflag). I approached her and she said she told me thousands of people steal her id and I pushed back that they don't give those awards to just anyone or a hairstylist. She tried to turn around on me by saying whats wrong with being on that list?? lolol. Uggghh. I then said either your an interpreter using someones photo id's or your the real deal but your married and just need to pick up a few dollars on the side. I went with the interpreter making money off of Anna's photo's... To Craigs review, I did later see her photo on another site (I believe loveme.com and it had her at 5'9" psychologist and on charmdate her phot was a 5'4" hairstylist. Guys beware.

This site treats mature and responsible adults like children. Even though we may have professional jobs, children and homes, 'Big Daddy' here decides when we are allowed to meet. Under the false claim that their 90 Day meeting rule protects their ladies from criminals and violence they force us into an unnecessary and very expensive process. Both my partner and I asked this site if we could meet before 90 days, but 'No' we will have to wait the full 90 days, as we clearly haven't paid them enough money yet. This site is in contravention of the fundamental laws of human rights in terms of freedom to meet and association. The ladies are beautiful, treat them with respect, but they are being used by the owners of this site. They are the delicious bait but we are the unsuspecting mouse in the trap here.

Its a con, found the same person twice, different name, different nationality, kids on one profile, no kids on the other. Oh and 5 foot 5 on one and 5 foot 9 on the other. Cheaper to book a 3 day holiday in Kiev and find one the old fashioned way.

I found one of the girls registered on CharmDate on Instagram her username @petrovalida . Turns out she has a boyfriend and lives in Dubai!! She lied and said she lives in Kiev, Ukraine. When I confronted her, She claimed she has no control over her account and that her business controls it. When I followed her Instagram from my personal account, she immediately blocked me within minutes!! She is a liar and a thief. Same for ALL the women on this site. Absolute scam designed to take all your money. These girls just want to have fun. None of them are looking to meet with you. Her ID on CharmDate is C779965 , name is Lidia. Her full real name is Lidia Petrova. Scammer!! Please spread the word and expose her! She is still on the site and using men for money. The whole site should be shut down for fraud.

Yes charmdate is a scam unfortunately )))!!! Yes I'm to honest and I wasted thousands off dollars on one lady from Odessa Ukraine .I spent seven months and she led me to believe that I'd meet her there and we'd get married ,I noticed that she'd be online for up to twelve hours plus at any one time day or night :)!!! I asked her if she is chatting with other guys and sending them EMF and she denied this )))! I set up a bogus profile and sent her a chat request ,she responded plus even sent my admirer mail plus a EMF which I never read !!! So as a rule my better judgement always prevails and it came to the fore that I wasn't the only guy she was chatting with etc !!!!! Best way is take a holiday there and meet one face to face ( the real deal ) . Best regards guys :)

I think it's the messages exchange that really needs improvement. They can't keep repeating so that others know whether a message is really becoming sent or not. The system can detect automatically once there is repeating.
