Thank you for your review. We appreciate you taking the time to inform our potential guests about the home, however it is unfortunate that you did not bring any of these issues to our attention during your stay as we likely could have resolved them. The hot tub is professionally cleaned twice a week but due to its (awesome) marsh front, outdoor location, leaves and a little sand might occasionally sneak in between cleanings. Because we pay for professional cleanings (including testing the water and balancing the chemicals- likely the "pills" you mentioned), we expect the hot tub to be in tip top condition and have no way of knowing otherwise unless we are told. Obviously, we would have sent the cleaner back out to do a better job had we have known. We are sorry that you missed out on such a great property feature! We will look into getting the door fixed, we have noticed that it sometimes swells with humidity but no one has ever mentioned it being a nuisance until now. As for the puddles, unfortunately it isn't a problem with the driveway. Puddles form all along this section of road because of its proximity to the beach. Drainage can be a bit of an issue when you are right at sea level. There are pluses and minuses to having a home in such a great location, but again, this is a first time that we have heard that puddles have really affected a guest's vacation negatively. We are sorry that you were unable to enjoy some of the house's features but we hope that you still had a wonderful time visiting Folly Beach.

Thank you for your review. We have a professional staff available 24/7 to assist with maintenance needs. Our staff was contacted about the HVAC not working and worked tirelessly to find a company that would visit the remote island on a weekend. Unfortunately, not one of the more than 8 companies contacted were willing to visit the remote island, which is sometimes the case. Although against the rental agreement, the property managers offered to switch properties and offered a comp night, both of which were declined. We understand maintenance needs on vacation are frustrating and we apologize for the inconvenience. We wish all guests to have a positive experience when visiting the Charleston Coast and when this does not occur our entire team is disappointed.
