Working for Characters for Hire was a blast
Working for Characters for Hire was a fantastic experience. It was a hot day and we were going inside of dinosaur costumes, but the manager, Mike, looked after us, checking in to make sure we were doing okay or if we needed a break. Also just a great fun guy to work with. The clients were very happy with our performance and it was a pleasure to work with them to give their daughter a perfect birthday. I am thankful for the opportunity to work for this company.

TRUST ME- DO NOT HIRE THEM
Worst company I have ever had an experience with. This company showed me how sad it is for the working Actor! The treatment by the payroll of this company is horrible. I was threatened by employees and toyed with by staff who is in charge? I was eventually paid due to reviews online NOT by actually Contratual agreements. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY! & DO NOT HIRE FROM HERE! ✌

Dario threatened, harassed and tried to extort money from the company. He communicated via text racist comments about our staff and called them the "N" word. This is something we would not tolerate when our staff gets abused in this vicious way. His professionalism is the reason we cancelled our contract with him. Our contract stated how long it would take for first time performers who are new with the company to get paid. Dario did not bother to read the contract. This is why we ask everyone to read our contract thoroughly. Our legal department is exploring legal options.

The performers were amazing
The performers were amazing! But it was just a bit unorganized. They showed up just a bit late, and while the performers were getting ready the manager kept pulling me aside from the event to sign papers and pay some due charges which caused me to miss some important parts of the party. Everyone was so kind and worked well to pull off an amazing performance! Everyone loved it!

Lucy, thank you for your review. And we are so happy that the performance was amazing and to your satisfaction. We were concerned when you mentioned that it was a bit unorganized and about being a bit late. When we pulled the paperwork that you signed, you indicated that everyone arrived 2 hours before your scheduled start date. So I'm confused here. Unless you were talking about when the performance started a bit late? that was due to us waiting for your guests to leave the cocktail room and enter the main room where the performance was scheduled to take place because that was the room where we needed to enter from. As per yourself, we had our manager remind everyone that we were about to start, so yes because of delays with the guests we were a bit late. And regarding when the manager (event coordinator) pulled you aside to sign the paperwork and collect the balance due, it's so he would not bother you during the start of the event. I hope this clarifies your concerns.
