My experience with CfH was very good
My experience with CfH was very good. Their communication, instructions, and process was both prompt and professional. We had a contact there in the field, and except for one small hangup around a script, there were no issues on the day.

First time working with CFH
We worked an event with characters for hire. Overall everything was to the point and easy going. The duration of the event was fine and we were treated kindly by event staff. It was our first time working with them so we didn’t know why to expect going into it, but was a overall positive experience! I would definitely work with them again.

Clerical error led to delayed payment, but had fun
UPDATE: Seems like there was some sort of clerical error. And it has been resolved. 5 stars for the work. Docking a star for the error, but fortunately it was just an error. Had fun working, hope the next time goes far more smooth. ORIGINAL: I have not been paid yet, nor have I been given a reason for non-payment.... I've been sitting on my hands, but haven't heard anything from them. If I did something wrong, I haven't been informed of it.

We are sorry you are having a problem with payment. We process over 300 electronic checks weekly throughout the country. I wish you had called us or followed directions as clearly stated in our contract with you. We constantly tell talent to review their contracts as all of their answers can be found there. Including all payment related questions. You are not being paid because you have not followed our instructions. We ask you to please review your contract under Payment on pages 5 and 6 of our contract. There you will find everything you need to know how to get paid. As stated in our contract, emailing our accounting is a no-no as we receive thousands of emails a week and your email may get lost with all the spam we receive. Not sure why you did not call our offices if you did not receive payment. Our telephone number is splashed all over the internet, including search engines and directory assistance. Please review your contact so you may properly be paid. Thank you.

Pleasant event, a little disorganized
It was an easy and fun event to work at. It was a little disorganized I guess, with the costumes arriving late and the hosts of the event being too busy to tend to us or give us more direction. But it all went well and I would work for Characters For Hire again, sure!
