Champion EnergyReviews of championenergyservices.com

The customer service department in this company does not know how to communicate. On the first day of being a customer, an account issue has been one sided where I am continually calling and emailing to get status and attempting to drive it to resolution. I initially was told 24 to 48 hours, then finally after 10 business days my last call appears to get them to act, but, we are not done. Is this what I can expect in the future? I’m currently thinking to just go to another energy provider and break a brand new contract and pay an early termination fee. Update to prior posting: I gave them another 10 business days and I have not received the promised refund of my deposit. Called customer service again. Was told the money was credited to my account. I do not see the credit in my account summary and I specifically asked for a paper check. Was put on hold while the representative contacted the billing department. Was then told a check was cut yesterday and waiting for USPS pickup of outgoing mail. The dysfunction at this energy provider in regards to communicating with the customer and delivering what is promised is just unbelievable.

I want to sincerely thank Champion Energy, and especially Katherine, for providing such exceptional customer service. Katherine was responsive, and truly went above and beyond to help me. Throughout the entire process, I always felt that my concerns mattered and that every effort was being made to provide the best possible experience. That level of professionalism, respect, and genuine care is becoming increasingly rare, and it deserves to be recognized. Champion Energy has left a lasting positive impression on me, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for an electricity provider that puts customers first.

I reported this company but decided not to continue to deal with these corrupted people who redlined me and are stealing. I was paying $200-$400 in two-bedroom apartment that I was never in. I switched after they agreed not to charge me the fee, I am with Gexa Energy now, after 4 months, I am happy to say my energy bill has been consisted between $80-$90. Now, would you look at that?!!

This is the most ridiculous thing ever happen to me and I won’t recommend to anybody bad company

Terrible Service – Avoid Champion Energy UK at All Costs! Absolutely awful experience with Champion Energy UK. I was quoted one price when I signed up, but they started charging me significantly more than what was agreed. When I contacted other energy suppliers to compare, they checked my meter readings and confirmed I was being overcharged based on my actual usage. Trying to resolve this has been a nightmare. I can’t get through to anyone on the phone, and when I finally managed to speak to a representative, he was completely unhelpful—refused to give me any real information about my account and brushed off my concerns. Now I’m trying to switch providers, but they’re making it as difficult as possible. It's like they’re trapping me in a contract I never agreed to in the first place. This company is a complete rip-off with disgraceful customer service. Avoid at all costs! I wish I had read more reviews before signing up. Save yourself the stress and go with a more reputable supplier.

Ignore the bad reviews! A lot of the bad 1 star reviews are for a Champion Energy in Great Britain. I did some quick research and it is not even the same company as the US based Champion Energy Services LLC. This one is a Houston TX based company that I have had great experiences with for the past four years. Champion has always been straightforward with my family. Sometimes the bills are high in Texas summers and winters. But I can commend them that my power didn’t go out even when we had power outages and blackouts during several ice storms in Dallas. Some of my friends did not have power for 1-2 weeks! And we did! And they provided me with quick updates on storms and any outages from Oncor. The SmartTrack emails are a great help to see what time and temperatures you are using the most electricity. Happy to be a customer!

This is a fraudulent company who has scammed various businesses locally. Avoid at all costs.

I've been a customer for two years, going for my third with no complains.
