Dear Ayush, The frustration is understood completely. However, the actual height gain a person experiences when wearing elevator shoes may be less than the advertised height gain for several reasons. One reason is that the height gain is measured at the heel, but when a person wears the shoes, they are standing on an incline. This incline creates a triangular-like shape between the foot and the ground, which reduces the actual height gain. Another reason is that the height gain can vary depending on the individual's weight and foot compression. The weight of the individual can compress the shoe's sole, which can reduce the height gain. Additionally, the size and fit of the shoe can also affect the height gain. If the shoe is too big or too small, it may not provide the advertised height increase. Finally, other factors such as your standing postures, the way you measure and so on can affect the actual height gained. Overall, while elevator shoes can provide some additional height, the actual height gain may be less than the advertised height due to a variety of factors.
