**Mixed feelings.**
**Mixed feelings.** First of all, the shoes are shipped from China, although the customer service is friendly and responsive. Depending on your country, you may also have to pay additional customs clearance fees, which could be around $10–20. Also, keep in mind that the shoes do not provide as much height as advertised. I bought two pairs. The first pair, a pair of sneakers advertised as adding **7 cm**, actually adds about **4.5–5 cm**. That said, these sneakers are incredibly comfortable, very lightweight, and feel great to wear, you almost forget you have them on. They just don't deliver the promised height. The second pair was a pair of derby shoes advertised as adding **9 cm**. They add around **6 cm** (allowing for a measuring error of about 0.5 cm). However, they are quite heavy, and the internal lift creates a steep incline, making them feel more like you're wearing heels. So, the sneakers are very comfortable but don't provide the advertised height, while the derby shoes give a bit more height but are still far from the claimed 9 cm and are much less comfortable. Overall, I'm not sure how to feel. At around **$150 per pair**, I expected the advertised height claims to be more accurate. If they were about half the price, I would probably be very satisfied.

Dear Jane SSJ, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We truly appreciate honest reviews – they help us improve and also help other customers make informed decisions. We’d like to address a few points for clarity: 1. Shipping origin and customs fees We operate warehouses in the US, Europe, China, and several other countries. The shipment origin depends on inventory availability and your destination – we always choose the most optimal route to deliver your order as quickly and safely as possible. Regarding customs duties, we generally use tax‑inclusive shipping channels and prepay any applicable fees, so most of our customers pay nothing extra. However, in some countries without such channels, duties may be charged by local customs – this is beyond our control, and we always state this clearly on our shipping policy page. 2. Height measurement standard Our advertised height is measured vertically from the bottom of the heel to the highest point of the built‑in lift – that is the actual physical dimension of the shoe itself. When worn, your body weight may cause a slight compression (typically 0.5–1 cm). Also, factors like posture or not having the heel fully seated can affect perceived height. We stand by our products: when measured directly from the sole to the insole surface, the height does not fall below the stated figure. 3. Comfort differences between styles You rightly pointed out that the sneakers are very comfortable but give less lift, while the derby shoes provide more height but feel stiffer. This is due to material and construction differences. Every style has its own character – some prioritise lightweight comfort, others aim for maximum elevation. We always recommend contacting our customer service team for style advice based on your personal preferences. We also offer customisation services to tailor the fit and height to your needs. We regret that the height and comfort didn’t fully meet your expectations. However, we are confident that our product measurements are accurate, and we are always open to helping you find the right pair. Please feel free to reach out to us directly – we would be happy to discuss alternatives or custom options. Thank you again for your honest review. We hope to serve you better in the future. Sincerely, Chamaripa Elevator Shoes Team
