Good quality shoes but BAD RETURNS

Good quality shoes, and the most invisible increase compared to other sites. Customer service is usually good - responsive and informative. I've asked for details about certain shoes and they've even sent me pictures from their warehouse. However - RETURNS ARE IMPOSSIBLE. I received shoes with a factory defect, have gone back and forth with them a few times, and they are extremely resistant to agree to a return even though there is a factory defect. I'll update this when, hopefully, I can actually return them. UPDATE 6/13/22: After going back and forth over WEEKS I finally got a *partial* return. Chamaripa did everything possible to avoid giving a return. They told me to resell the shoes or give them to a friend..to go to a shoemaker to repair the defect THEY had caused..they INVOICED me for $40 to pay for the return shipping even though, per their website, returns are free due to a defect. Finally, after tons of back and forth, they gave me a PARTIAL return 2 weeks after they received my return. I was so fed up that I didn't argue any more. Do NOT buy from this company unless you expect to never return your shoes. I certainly won't bother buying from them again. The hassle isn't worth it. What a horrible business model - losing so many potential lifetime customers due to awful customer service and refusal to allow returns, even though their website plainly says they allow them. Over my lifetime I would have easily spent thousands at their store, and now they'll get 0. Based on the other negative reviews, I am not the only one who thinks this way. Surely this costs them more money than it saves. When will Chamaripa realize that returns are simply part of doing business, and if they don't want you to return, they should update their guidelines to say that?
