Be careful. The site has very bad product descriptions and once you download and realise the model is incorrect they will not refund you.

I hired an "artist", bad mistake. Cgtrader guarantee's you will be happy and that you get to "Approve" the work...LIES LIES LIES. The only one's who will approve anything is Cgtrader. After 3 weeks of not getting the most basic idea across I wanted to cancel this deal, the artist I hired finally admitted he had his damn STUDENT working on my project!!! No wonder. I then went to Cgtrader a 2nd time to inform them and they said too bad you have to buy this garbage you have no choice. So I got ripped off, lost my money, and got a digital lump of shiiit in return.

I did not do any business with CGTrader i was trying to do business with 3D Hubs which is another rip-off company. which quotes you a cheaper price then after you submit you file they refuse and try to sell you another material at a much higher price. then CGTrader sends an e-mail asking to rate a 3d purchase from them and charged me for nothing. they don't even allow me the chance to rate.

Absolutely the worst. The website navigation is terrible. Some formats appear to be included in a model but actually are not. I purchased one such model and since my format was not included I asked for a refund. I was told rudely there will be no refund. I can't understand how it is possible not to get a refund in 2019 when I can not use this product and it was not a cheap model either. I would never shop there again.

That site is pure scam and it is destroying the 3D freelance industry. They first claim to pay you 2000 dollars a month if you work for them, which is totally a scam: it is actually 2-3 dollars per hour, 400 dollars a month maximum, no weekends. And of course, being extremely picky and demanding in terms of quality and time. Before accessing to their 'paid' jobs you have to spend hours of your time working on top quality tests, hours of your time that you will never get paid, on a high quality 3D models that they will have for ther benefit for free. Once you have acces to the paid jobs the prices they claim to pay per model are 20,30, 50 dollars for 3D models that have 7-10 level of difficulty. If any 3D freelance is even tempted to work for them just don't waste your time and sell your 3d models in any other platform.

CGTrader obtained my contacts without my consent and keeps spamming me with some dodgy looking offers of low-paid work, which is unethical, annoying and disruptive. I believe this company is a useless piece of crap and there is no place in the modern world for it.

i am very dissapointed in this company i purchased some items from them and they didnt work with my software and i asked for a refund so i can buy something else and they never emailed me back and now they suspended my account i dont know where these people come from i just dont know

I've been an artist on this platform for about 2 years now. They won't pay you and they blame it on the bank/PayPal. STAY AWAY
